Otherwise she would sound exactly like this, but this is better. She likely improved her singing skill if she manages to not sound too nasal or high-pitched when she sings high notes or not.
If you watch Starship trainees audition for Products 48, you can see that at that time, Wonyoung still didn't use any high pitch childish voice. But after she had to perform Very Very Very IOI, everything's change. She had to use that high pitch voice.

Wonyoung's voice is so refreshing here! It's very different from her usual nasal and high-pitched singing.
Cuz its closer to her real normal voice..she actually has deep voice. She usually sings cutely cuz of her maknae image in IZONE

Otherwise she would sound exactly like this, but this is better. She likely improved her singing skill if she manages to not sound too nasal or high-pitched when she sings high notes or not.
If you watch Starship trainees audition for Products 48, you can see that at that time, Wonyoung still didn't use any high pitch childish voice. But after she had to perform Very Very Very IOI, everything's change. She had to use that high pitch voice.

For anyone who's curious : Wonyoung went to an English Kindergarten and learned English since she was young. She was always the best English speaker in her former group. Thats why her pronunciation is good 🥰
