Dude... Blown away right now... I used to watch you talk about changing your discus water tank one gallon jug at a time... This was like a video resume for BBC Earth.
The Zoo should pay you for the video and use it as there advertisement. I was watching the video and Sai walked by and saw me watching your video. The first thing she said was "what Nature channel are you watching now." I said, "It's Jimmy's video" and she said," WOW, looks like National Geographic." I was like RIGHT I KNOW!!!!!! Sorry this is a really long comment LOL
Used to live a few blocks south of the zoo and teach a few blocks north. Best field trips ever! Time for a return visit. Thanks for the spectacular video.
Thanks for making me miss Seattle even more... when you leave, who is going to give me my Seattle fix? Everything else I watch looks like a photo or film... you actually take me there. Sniff sniff.
Very nice! Love the birds. Just went to the San Diego Zoo for the first time since I was a kid and my biggest memory are the huge walk in aviaries. All these beautiful birds flying all around you was incredible.
Same here! I didn’t even know I was a bird person til yesterday. It’s crazy to me. I must own an aviary one day. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Excellent, a wonderful video. For a video of this length and content, it does not need any voice over. If there is anything lacking is that you do not realize how good you are. First class, thank you.
this is an awesome video. we are going there tomorrow and I thought I'd youtube to see if anyone had any videos on here and it's crazy to see you just uploaded this a day ago! you are very talented!
I don't believe you can make a bad video if you tried! Jimmy, you have such an eye for beauty and interest. Thank you for sharing you gift with us! I really love the macro shots. Great job! :-)
Fantaaaaastic Jimmy! Thanks for the mini. There were several items that touched my heart like the weaver finches that reminded me of my days when I was raising Lady Gould finches and the butterflies that allowed me to reminisce about the time when my brother and I would go out hunting those 'tiger swallowtails' throughout the neighborhood. The beetles were outstanding, especially the diving ones. Just superb footage!
It was the one of the best zoos ever! But then the fire that took out the Day light exhibit, took out one of the reasons I always went there. Rainforest is still cool though. PDZ has the Pacific Seas aquarium btw, it's pretty awesome as well
I cant imagine being able to go out in the world and film something like this, you are crazy talented. Great video and amazing editing I love all the content you put out! Keep up with the good work :)
I really enjoyed this- especially after having just visited the place the day before I last visited with you earlier this year. I actually took a lot of footage from the Grizzly exhibit that I was always planning to edit/upload, but for some reason have not done so yet. The bears really put on a show for us. I really liked the wolf exhibit too. As a chance encounter, one of the volunteers pointed out to us the Eagle nest high up in a tree growing atop the hill that was in the middle of the wolf exhibit. And that a pair of wild bald eagles come back every year to take up residence in that nest. This video really is a bonus for me, as your lens' point of view captured a lot of where I was standing and what I was looking at but without my camera. The videography and music you selected make this piece a winner! I think you just found another of the many niches to do future videos on-- zoos wherever you travel to next!
Hahah Thanks Kaimuki. You should upload it. It never gets views but it’s a journal entry worth keeping. Thank you for watching. :) love when you leave a commment. Hope all is well. Aloha!
Wow. Every shot was to perfection. You know you can always come to Australia if you want to see wild kangaroos and kookaburras 🤠🤠😉😉 Surly this vid goes viral!
I went a few years ago, really a photographers zoo, so we'll done. I really hope to do some stuff like this one day, but really need to get better filming technique
Jimmy, I've been to that zoo many times and always left depressed. I hate how animals are contained. Your video made it beautiful. It's a resource for folks who aren't like me. And hopefully, that brings animal advocacy.
Dude... Blown away right now... I used to watch you talk about changing your discus water tank one gallon jug at a time... This was like a video resume for BBC Earth.
Lmao! Those were the longest days of my life. Yea, I’ll forever remember your name as you used to comment back then too. Never forget!

GreT sound design and shooting! I forgot I was in a zoo!
amazing quality from the technical perspective for the video. I certainly don't agree those are the best exhibits at that zoo.
I see you working for National Geographics or Discovery in the near future. Mucho skillz bro.
Wow. Every shot was to perfection. You know you can always come to Australia if you want to see wild kangaroos and kookaburras 🤠🤠😉😉 Surly this vid goes viral!
thanks for the video!
I couldn't help but hear David Attenborough's voice narrating this. I'll give him a call and see if he is up for more work.

Oh, what lens did you use for the insect/bug macro shots? They were soooo stunning
I used my Sony 90mm Macro! :)
The 240 likes - 0 dislikes says it all. I'm sure the likes will get even higher.

Chase your dreams Bro. I made up my mind. Not to stay captivate inside the 4 walls of a room.
Jimmy, I've been to that zoo many times and always left depressed. I hate how animals are contained. Your video made it beautiful. It's a resource for folks who aren't like me. And hopefully, that brings animal advocacy.
What Japanese species of fish are good for a 55 gallon tank that get 3 to 6 inches
Hmm. Try some Kuhli loaches!
