There are many bitter and salty people in the comments who don't even know how this works and keep criticizing, shortcuts are allowed as long as they pass between the official signs, it doesn't lose merit, quite the opposite, implies knowledge, skill and experience, doing the best route with the minimum of error

This is now the third video I've seen of this race. The other two were also very impressive as they try to pass every rider from last place to first. But this guy that finished first is even more impressive. He's riding like he's being chased by an axe murderer who'll cut off his private parts and feed them to his dog. That's really the best way I can explain how crazy fast this guy is going. It's super human honestly. Amazing.
The other vid of the guy who blows his tire is impressive too.. He must've passed hundreds of people the entire time up until he blew it. Had he not experienced equipment malfunctions, he probably would have gone from near last place to top 10..

This guy is gliding down the hill so fast it looks like a rollercoaster footage.
The videos of the people that started in the back are far more interesting. You get to see them overtake people and the mega crash that happened. See a lot more falls and tougher terrain due to the people in the front
