WryPlains12345 - heard a possible rumour is the ship we see getting destroyed may NOT be the Enterprise, it may simply be another ship of the same class (its constitution class), and the clip we do see of what appears to be a damaged enterprise (where the serial number is clearly shown) may be towards the end of the movie, and that during the movie is where Kirk and crew are sent on a rescue mission to rescue the survivors of that ship......but I just can't believe they would go ahead and destroyed the enterprise this early.....

I know many people didn't like this move, but I did. Although not (racially) the best person chosen to portray Khan, Benedict Cumberbatch was still spectacularly awesome in the role.

Space is both so beautiful and terrifying. And also vast. The “To Boldly Go” theme really encapsulates that.
