Hey Wolfie, fwiw, I have the 721 QZE snow thrower and the manual says to fill the oil to the point of overflow. But it also says "do not over fill or under fill" lol. First time I've seen that. Great video!

Usually engines like this can be filled to the brim when the dip stick is low in the case. Generators and some other engines are similar. The manual is usually written for more than one product and some verbiage may change, like model numbers. A lot has to do with positioning of engine, horizontal or vertical, and how oil is moved through unit. As long as there is oil in the thatched area:-P

The people that overfill them are the ones that tip it fwd and put the cap on. Yall are doing it correctly. Fill slowly to the brim on level ground.

I have same machine. The carburetor bowl has gas but the gas is not getting to the spark plug. It looks like your work to check the jet would be the next step. Thoughts? Thx

I usually use a b string piece or a sandwhich twisty. I have other videos here about cleaning carbs, but there's other videos about that too. Thanks for your comment:-)

What should I do if it's only running on choke? It's running too lean and dies off of choke even with the carb cleaned.

Sorry I missed your comment. Been really busy in the garage and don't always have time to sit on computer. If you're running on choke only, most likely need to clean the carb out. Could be a small piece of dirt clogging it up. Fresh gas is also important. I'll be dealing with 70 gallons of gas in a boat this spring. It's been in there for 2 years. Need to unload it into the vehicles.

Yep, starts at 1:42. If you take a sandwich twisty, the metal ones, remove the coating on outside, you should be able to send through emulsion tube.

Actually you need to remove the brass hold down then let the emulsion tube slide out and clean it’s very fine holes about 12
      They usually get gummed up.

@@josephpuchel6497 sure, if you want to risk stripping. I can tell you with certainty, servicing thousands of units, I only remove main jets in vehicles. It's absolutely unnecessary to do that with snowblowers, mowers, and anything else that doesn't absolutely need to. You might as well spend $20 on scamazon if it is that bad.

Reason why doesn’t start is because you took shortcuts you don’t ever take shortcuts not only that you don’t know how to use starting fluid either can you spray it when you turn the motor over gonna blow it up
