Had mine up to 71 yesterday and was nice and smooth, gets threre quick and felt like it could cruise there all day, very stable. Had more but that was plenty for me.
@@TheATVHustle Mine is the Max XT. The way the steering pulls back to center helps it feel much more stable at high speeds, as does the added length. That and the sway bars really keep it straight on track. I was on a paved road in between trails that was long straight and flat. I have 2 Grizzly 700's and they aren't as stable at speed.
Bro, I love these 4-wheelers. Every time that I finish assembling one, I make sure to drift it out of the build shop😂 That governor really holds these bikes back, I’ve seen one of these do 93mph ungoverned. I like the 850 over the 1000 because it’s a short-frame. BTW, the governor does tell the ECM to restrict power at a certain speed. It can definitely be removed though.
I have now broken it outside of the factory warranty, if they don’t fix it under the aftermarket warranty I’ll be ready to tune it. 😂 it sounds like the clutches have grenaded.
What impressed me was how quickly the thing gets up to 50MPH-60MPH. Dang! I remember a Kawasaki KLT250 I had that sounded like it was going to blow up at 30 MPH. 😂
Thats no joke, iu tried to find a way to add a timer to the video to show how quick it got to 60. The 60-77 wasnt as quick but still fast none the less. That KLT250 would probably outlive this modern quad 😂
I’ve had my 2024 850 max past 80. But it’s sketchy for sure. I bought mine new but it runs like it’s been tuned. It sounds almost choppy at idle , I’m going to take it in and find out.
I like to drink beer and cruise the gravel roads. I'll stick to my Kaw 360 prairie lol. Not the fastest but it's been to hell and back more than once and still running strong.

Is yours the XT or the XTP? Mine was a little sketchy after about 68-70 but the road isn’t nice either.

I have an outlander 1000xu+, but its maximum speed is 67mph and then there is a limit, how to remove it?
That would have to be removed with some sort of tuning.

Maybe you get a little more since it’s a max model. I don’t think they tune them at the dealers but maybe your dealer is cooler 😂
Picking one of these up this week. I haven't seen much different between the Max XT or the regular XT. Seems like it's not much performance wise.
I'm pretty sure the only difference is the length since the max is longer.
I got a 2024 850xt I've got mine to 77mph but my dash says 82 and I'm positive it did not do 82 and still don't know why it says that
Maybe a glitch or a failed speed sensor, that would be my only guess

hows the consumption on this one?
@@erdembleu7928 what do you mean by consumption?
I've had mine 80 mph mine is a 2021 850xt, and yes I did see yours hit 78
I suppose they changed the tuning. 99% of people probably shouldn't go this fast anyway lol
From the looks of that road, it's either South Carolina or Mexico.
@@muchogracious1557 😂😂😂😂 that’s a nice road for Oklahoma
My speedo is off by 3 mph at higher speeds. Xt-p 1000, goes 78 on speedo, 75 on gps
I thought about running a gps on it too but my go pro is unreliable .
No I just bought a 700 and now you make me want to go trade it in and buy the 8:50 because it seems to be way faster
I have heard the 700 is quick as well!
@@TheATVHustle i got 52 mph in a pretty good stretch on the trail. Not very impressive
@@TheATVHustle well I just got approved for a 2024 xt1000 R so that should be fast enough
@@RydinginStyle72 I had someone mention theirs doing 72, is yours an xmr?
@@TheATVHustle no. Base model. It may go faster down the road but I was on a trail in the woods and I held it for quite a while
Kinda disappointing the canam outlander 570s top speed is 74mph
Im sure with out the limitations of the computer it would be much faster. The 850 has a bit more torque than the 570 as well.
Its not how fast you are its how quick that wins the race
My 700 gen 3 hits governor at 74 also,
my outlander 650 does 72-74mph
Yea i have seen a few, i think the tuning would let this go much faster.
