Ive brought back more than ive lost of those master cylinders running it through an ultrasonic cleaner. Thanks for the vidjya bud! keep on hustling!
I’ll have to try that next time, I have never thought about that. I rebuilt a few in the past but they aren’t worth the effort with how cheap they are now.

Thanks, have needed this information for several years... I'll be looking tomorrow.
You are welcome! I hope it helps you find it quickly.
Why are you putting diesel oil in a gas engine?
@@stevewallace326 I have run rotella for many years in all my atvs and my trucks. It’s not necessarily diesel oil, it works with wet clutches and it’s cheap.
Great feedback
Whenever i look at something my pet peeve is either not washed full of mud or when they are freshly washed and still wet and even some pictures at the carwash. I dont look at it any farther.
@@Alwhite1929 yea it will have 2” thick of mud on the skid plate and say it ran when they parked it.
I had a Honda Rancher 350 is it really good until the engine block cracked and still ran
What was the problem.
This is a few years old and a few 100 atvs ago, I can’t remember lol.
Happy New Years Can’t wait to see what we find this year
@@offthestreetsandinthecreek7294 happy new years to you too! I gotta couple in the shop right now. The holiday shipping delays have me delaying new videos.
From the looks of that road, it's either South Carolina or Mexico.
@@muchogracious1557 😂😂😂😂 that’s a nice road for Oklahoma
I often see the King quad 300 as one of the best atv ever made.
She got a clouple million miles left on er
Nahhhhh it’s fine
I just replaced mine but the starter won't stay engaged. Almost like to much compression. Could weak voltage cause that
IT could be the bendix or the starter itself. It's hard to diagnose through a keyboard but those would be my go-to aside from a dead battery.
Both are new. It would turn over good for a little while, now it just turns the motor half a round and the bendix disengages.
It’s taking way more than 2 minutes
The video is less than two minutes.
thx dude
Fine except if you are a senior who is not tech savvy and not on Facebook. Wish I could sell my Honda Helix clone made by CF Moto. for two hundred dollars just because I am older and no longer ride. But do not know how to. It is now 2025 and it just sits in my storage unit.
I love mine but the shifting problems suck! I have 250 miles on mine and were hoping itll break in
I’m at like 600 or so now, it’s better but still have the can am rock. I think park is the worst so I don’t use it.
What is the factory size tires for the front I just bought one and can't find the size tire that is on mine any where. Mine has a 22x8x9
@@chrisrobinson9332 rockymountain atv has some specs on their site, I’m not sure what the right one is but that sounds about right.
@@TheATVHustle ten four thanks
I’ve had my 2024 850 max past 80. But it’s sketchy for sure. I bought mine new but it runs like it’s been tuned. It sounds almost choppy at idle , I’m going to take it in and find out.
Maybe you get a little more since it’s a max model. I don’t think they tune them at the dealers but maybe your dealer is cooler 😂
I just picked up a cheap one they couldn't get to run. Tested and no spark. Unplugged the kill switch and it fired up on the first kick. They had got frustrated and just wanted it gone. Oversize tank, XRs only pumper carb, Acerbis hand guards and all new plastics, Baja designs full street legal kit, clean and clear title for my state in hand. I was stoked when it fired right up.
Nice! That sounds like a deal!
When’s the next video !!!
I usually drop them on Sundays if there aren't any delays from waiting on parts and such.
@ sounds good man!
12:21 it bit me 😂
TPSTool for the win! What a great tool to have man, love mine. What is that digital torque wrench adapter you used @ 3:16 ?
Its the Quinn brand from harbor freight, it's pretty nice for the price. I think it was around $40
I've been binge watching all your older videos when you were parting out. I Just started getting to your newer stuff. Would you say there's more money flipping vs parting out or is it just the enjoyment of bringing something back to life?
I do enjoy the flip more than i did parting them out but with the rise of china parts, some of the machines are more profitable to fix vs part out. It really depends on the unit, the polaris sportsmans are mostly better to fix but something like the ranger in this video would probably make more in parts since the rear diff is around $1400, The trans is $950 and the ecu and surepower are $300 a piece.
Hey man, I had a question for ya. I bought a $300 03 sportsman 500 the other day non running. Go says no spark, it’s been kinda cold here recently and my garage is full so I’ve only barely messed with it but wandering where you’d start. I hooked a jump box to it and cranked it over, it started for literally half a second. I cranked it some more and it’d back fire out the exhaust, than randomly start again for a split second. Just curious where you’d start since you mess with Polaris so often and I never do hardly lol thanks for any reply!
@@Anticidal25901 if it is starting at all then you have spark, if your getting a lot of backfiring I would check the cam. It’s pretty easy to tell if the exhaust lobe is gone if you pop the top cover off.
Sounded a little rough @ 13:00 minutes kinda sounded like the oil pressure dial pin may of been trying to hang a little! May should check that out it’s 1 bolt on side on side of engine
I totally meant to check on that when the top was all off and it was easy to access.
I had the same issue selling man. Sold a dirtbike too cheap, now buyer has it up for 1900 more then I asked 😮 . I lost patience
You live and learn, unfortunately for me it's always the hard way 😂
I would list it for $4k and settle for 3500. Remember it’s about them thinking they are getting a great deal
I always leave room for negotiation when i do my list price since i have passed on units since they said they were fiRm lol .
Appreciate you making this video!
You’re welcome, glad it helped!
For anybody who wants to get into selling anything on eBay do not sell outside of the United States it's almost never worth it depends on what you're selling though and also no local sales at all everything is done on eBay you will get your money and it will sell it will just take time.
I never had the issue when i used global shipping program by eBay but would never sell direct international again. They expect the cheapest prices and 3 day shipping but it usually takes a month to get out there. I can't sell parts well at all local unless it's a RZR and still would get more per part on ebay.
You put that engine together quick lol
@@Williamxmr lol right, I messed up some of the footage from this video and left some stuff out since I was jumping back and forth on it. It’s easy to get in the zone and just get to work with out the camera 😂
@TheATVHustle don't I know it! Your vids are great man
@ thanks bud!
Great video bro ..I could never get the purple camo plastics to ever come back once they go green 😂
@@offthestreetsandinthecreek7294 did you know they are an odd green under the wrap? I ran across a couple quads I think in Waco last weekend that are the same odd green. He called them the “tocom” model I think. When I googled it they are some sort of military issue.
Enjoy the ride man . I always have these come into my shop 90% of the time simple fix and flip
@@Sinister.6ix.customs I love buying these since they are so easy to fix. If they don’t sit too long it’s usually a small issue but once they sit for years it adds a few issues lol
@TheATVHustle anything that sits longer then 2 years always provide an extra amount of work 😉
Does this have gilter on it
No its just clean in the video.
At least the frames bring good money
I usually toss them, i have never had any luck selling the frames and they are too expensive to ship.
@TheATVHustle I've had good luck with them and the buyer pays shipping seems like polaris 500 or bigger is the way to go
What he say
I could feel the disappointment when that axle snapped then when it released I could feel the relief...
The axle coming out is a feeling like no other 😂
Looks like a fun project bike. And a good quad once it was finished.
Yeah I had fun with it.
$1400 is pretty cheap for a good running 4 wheeler, up north I sold a Honda 300 2wd for $1300. It hey if you made money that’s all that matters
I should have priced it a few hundred higher, the guy that bought it resold it already.
Up here in MN those heated grips are moneyt bud! I run a repair shop up here and it is all sleds right now, im buried, lol. Got a short uploaded of 2 Polaris triples running, if you never heard them run go check it out brother. That valve train or clutch rattle im hearing?
Those things sound like fun, are they fast comparable to a quad on dirt? or slower due to the snow? That noise was a washer rattling on the lower exhaust cover bolt, i took care of it once i made it back in the shop.
@@TheATVHustle Holeshot is insane aslong as you can get the track to hookup. Hard pack or ice with a studded track they hookup n pull like a demon. Biiger foot print with the track turning. Figured youd handle the rattle.. and you knew what it was. I used to flip wheelers/sleds but I went full time repair, less BS.. you know.. lol
@ I’ll ride one eventually, it’s on my bucket list!
@@TheATVHustle stay south and stay warm bud. Ever make it up to MN I got you however. Lol
Cv boot has a hole in it @37:17
I noticed that as i was editing it but the quad was gone already at that point.
Awesome video digging the longer videos . I think you did good fixing and flipping it …it will come back around on the next one
Appreciate that!
Up north here and I understand prices are different between us but dam! $1400 for a mechanically sound quad is soooo cheep! Guess you made someones X-Mas 😊
A buddy of mine bought it and sold it rather quickly for almost $1000 more, the last one of these i had was hard to sell for $1400 but it was the ugly green color.
Put you a rubber grommet in the where the key switch was
That would be a great idea. I need to find somewhere to buy an assortment, nowhere local to me would have stuff like that.
You need to invest in some bearing grease tools
I know, i pretty much need all the sizes of them as well.
@TheATVHustle e bay or Amazon there not that expensive but worth it
