This has to be the best version on this song. Each instrument clearly has its own space. Dave Roe's upright bass sound just fits. W.S. Holland's drumming sounds like a train with his fast hi-hat beat. Bob Wooton's guitar is solid. Johnny's rhythm guitar is just the right volume in the mix. And of course Johnny's vocals are perfect. All 4 of them have past on, but the sound will live forever. Marshall Grant and Luther Perkins started the "Sound."
Love Johnny Cash his music will live on for decades to come just like Elvis and Roy Orbison and ironically they all started at Sun Records in Memphis in the 1950s
