I agree. Bobby Eaton was a student of the entire wrestling game. I mean look how he casually guides the interviewer’s movements-Bobby casually guiding the interviewer’s hand, tapping him on the shoulder. Wasn’t hard. I never noticed it until now. Bobby really was a craftsman all around
But what I love about Bobby Eaton was he’d give anyone a chance no matter what-a characteristic I’m still trying to master in regards to everyday life. I mean he gave David Flair…..DAVID FLAIR a chance. Didn’t think about himself once. We still miss you Beautiful Bobby!!

I’ve been a wrestling fan since age 5 and many wrestlers, including Eaton, said they were screwed by Lawler. I don’t get involved with the politics of wrestling as much. Is this a rib? What did Lawler do to screw over so many wrestlers? Last wrestler I heard who partially blamed Lawler was former WCW 3 Count member and champion in WWF Shane Helms?
It was shut down because of Doug Gilbert's mouth. They had a deal with the WWF in place to be developmental and his little interview on Lawler & Hales killed it. The promotion went on for a while longer but long term proved to be the end.
You would also think the station would hire a security guard to guard the video room to make sure tapes don't get destroyed. This happened in USWA with Brian Christopher.
