Problem is... As an abused kid, I can assure you parents never do this in public places. Everyone thinks you're perfectly normal outside, even spoiled; the behind closed doors it's the opposite. That's how they isolate you, and it's the worst feeling ever.

I was waiting for a bus outside a supermarket when I saw a woman hit her daughter after the daughter dropped her coat. I remember going into the store to report it but I don't think anything happened. Nowadays I would just call 911 or tell the bus driver

A few years ago when I was working at Macy's I saw a little girl about five years old or so crying (I didn't know the reason). Her mom screamed at her "if you don't shut up right now I'm going to fuck you up real good!" I wish that I would've at least called security. I regret not doing anything.

This is actually tame compared to the constant nonsensical extreme aggressiveness that many parents put upon their children.
Even when I stopped being abused, my parents still did it outside and inside which really least a lot of my self worth of my self and even when my parents weren’t around me I put on a fake smile to make people smile and say nothing wrong. Even tho everything is.

The dad got grabbed the kid by the necknow my grandma got me a BB gun so I said put the kid I’m not gonna tell you the rest of it but it would just say I shot the baby gun BB gun
