I was at this show and I couldn’t believe what an amazing job they did. I thought I was going to be disappointed as he is older but he fucking killed it
the band that got me into rock as a black kid growing up in dallas having to hide being a fan of rock was fukkin hard.. i remember going to cd warehouse when dysfunction and break the cycle dropped tricking my mom into buying those cds telling her it was rap and playing the cds super low in my room to avoid being called a weird black kid who likes rock was torcher
It's a sad story. Im from Russia and in the 90s rap and rock fans fought in the streets. And there were people whom no one like - these are rapcore fans. I thought there would be no such experience in America and Europe.
Something wonderful smith growing up as an emo teenager, listening to all these pissed off bands dealing with their demons, the growing up and not only being happier yourself, but seeing the artists having better happier lives themselves, but still absolutely killing it: Staind, Trent Reznor/NiN, Korn, Metallica, etc…
Escucho a staind desde hace 14 años y es increible ver al cantante cantando igual como aquellos años y eso que el tambien tiene muchos años fumando y su voz es igual y sus partes fuertes de los temas excelente
I remember when I first heard Staind I was around 13. Everyone has struggles. Life is a motherfucker. You hear Bands Staind this song along with Outside, Fade, It's Been a While, Suffer and Can't Believe you not only feel these songs but can relate.
damn aaron... how much ya grew mang... almost didn't recognize him till he sang. quite the shock for me really. he still has a good voice. good to know he still does. i'm hoping that's the rest of the OGs in the band from then to now?
I have a signed guitar my sister bought for me (and the shirt with the matching graphics. Saw him perform his country Album "Am I the Only One". Check out his song "Country Boy" Charlie Daniels played guitars and fiddle and George Jones sang backups. That there is Cred.
Dudes probably sang that song 5,000 times. I'm sure it gets a little old after 1,000. There was an old performance on Famrclub (a sweet show on USA back in the early 2000s.) Gonna see if it's online. I remember them announcing Staind back when they were new.. I made my brother come in the living room and watch it. He became a Staind fan instantly
Only Trent Reznor can pull off just standing in place and not being boring. Maybe Maynard from TOOL as well. Everyone else needs to put in a little effort lol
Most "older" artists sound like they're trying to make up for their shortcomings when they go for audience participation when singing. This REALLY doesn't seem like that - especially when he hits it low!
Aaron has always been like this on stage, Mike on the other hand is always going fucking insane on that guitar and makes up for aaron's lack of movement imo 👍
@@aar0n357 no he wasn't. I used to go to staind shows back in 1999, he had way more energy but now he is a lazy trunp supporter telling everyone what to say, do, and believe in
@@lukashasty1191 i expected Aaron to not turn into a bloated, opinionated hillbilly ranting about trump, conspiracy theories and a so called stolen election. Fans came to see him play his music but instead they got a trump rally. You dont see artists like travis barker all bloated dressing like a typical trump supporter as he got older. Nu-metal bands like korn, linkin park, paparoach still have a lot of energy on stage even though they are in there 40s and 50s
He’s not even trying on his vocals and it still sounds amazing lol! He almost looks bored of it!
I was there. I think he was just drunk lol
He is Rock, he is country, he is blues!!
He is trying, plaus he got his voice on point over the years. Muscle memory lol, he's just a lil sloshed
I feel like he's always been like that
Ya when you’ve been doin a song for 25yrs you get good at it. Better every time. Unless you’re Vince Niel.
Like fine wine, better with age. Those screams he threw in were 🔥
50 years old and still rocking
Ozzy's damn near twice his age and does such a better job, give me a break
@@Joshua-notjosh- Talking out of your ass with that one

Damn! For someone who 50, he's still got the growl!! That's metal!!!
🤘😈🤘
He might not be pissed anymore. But he still does a good job on this one
He's still pissed haha
Pissed?
Haha great comment
I was at this show and I couldn’t believe what an amazing job they did. I thought I was going to be disappointed as he is older but he fucking killed it
Especially, since he's a smoker now. I'm surprised his voice is still just as good.
Broo the way he can still belch those screams that he uses sparingly is on point better than any of the early years live takes
It’s all about vocal technique, lol.
@@ADT2695 true but most ppl can't get it right lol
What a beast. So effortless for him. Wow
one of the best rock songs ever
one of the few nu metal singers that can actually sing live
Over 20 years later and he still hasn't lost his range actually he sounds better SOMEHOW
Favorite rock song my dad would play for me as a child when driving me in the car. The 90’s are truly irreplaceable.
i love Aaron’s shirt
effortlessly flawless
The performance at salt lake earlier this year was perfect
the bass on this song never gets old

this man is a legend ❤
He’s still got it
I still love it so much
This gave me goosebumps ❤

Song of my childhood... One of the first albums...how fckn old I have become...
Best live singer ever
he and myles kennedy
I saw them last year with korn and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. ❤️❤️
Still killing it
my first ever mosh pit was during their set, so much fun!
Its blows my mind love u guys stiil rocking hard
still killing it Aaron & Staind Love it & America too!!!!!
Escucho a staind desde hace 14 años y es increible ver al cantante cantando igual como aquellos años y eso que el tambien tiene muchos años fumando y su voz es igual y sus partes fuertes de los temas excelente
Love his shirt. Let's GO!
The screams are so on point! Most bands get worse as they age but Staind just keeps getting better ❤
he's not pissed anymore just needs to pay the bills
lol
if you watch it looking at his face you can realize the pain is bigger than it was
Back in the day you could feel the anger in this song, not now. Aaron's switch to country must have softened him.
Maybe he is old now doesn't have that energy like all of us who jammed to this back in the day. We getting old.
if you watch it looking at his face you can realize the pain is bigger than it was
Yeah he sucks now. Hes a hillbilly trump supporting cult memeber...its pathetic he got lazy and fat
I remember when I first heard Staind I was around 13. Everyone has struggles. Life is a motherfucker. You hear Bands Staind this song along with Outside, Fade, It's Been a While, Suffer and Can't Believe you not only feel these songs but can relate.
I think he has just learned how to sing properly as years went on and he is trying to be "on point" rather than put on a show. His voice is awesome!
Sounds great
man theyre still rockin' and looking fit
Damn you Aaron you’re the best!!!🎉
I was at the show in Holmdel, NJ when he was on this tour and he delivered those screams effortlessly. Aaron Lewis is a fucking legend!
Holy fuck he's still got it!
I don’t blame him…I don’t drop down to my knees the way I did 25 years ago either…voice speaks for itself
Flawless...Note
For note
Love that Mike is rocking the long hair!
Great song
I look at him and cry feeling nothing but pure pain and loss he is my Chollys twin in every way
That opening bass line... 💯
Word UP!!!!
🔥🔥🔥

Except the drummer. All of the albums have Jon Wysocki on them, he was there since the beginning and left after the “Staind” album.
I was waiting for him to yawn during this performance
not so much to say, they’re just legend 👀💪🏻
I love arron so much
You know Aaron’s had a lot of fun in his life. Rockstar
Epic.
Dude he did 10x better louder than life
My God how we age. As good as ever though.
The way Aaron Lewis can sing without any effort is amazing! He has perfected his singing abilities to the max!!
I know!! Its awesome
i was there!

1:49 best part of this live
😏
Aaron sings so easy and awesome
Nice.
Bert Kriesher can wail
Lmao
😂😂😂
Fuck yeah
If you close your eyes and think about 1999, you're back in the saddle....
Thumbnail is so representative of his performance lmao
He sounds way better than before but why isn’t he getting into it like he used to?
He just isn't angry anymore. Yet his vocals are amazing, regardless.

Cause he’s 50 years old, he’d throw out his back if he jumped around and headbanged like he used to 😂
My man is still smoking the cigs😂😂😂😂
The only band that sounds as good live as they do on their album.
Aaron Lewis hasn’t lost a step!
You guys rock!!
Суперкачовая вещь
I didn't know Smee from hook could sing that well!
I wish you still move around back in the day cuz he's not at old
Only Trent Reznor can pull off just standing in place and not being boring. Maybe Maynard from TOOL as well. Everyone else needs to put in a little effort lol
You can tell he doesn’t want to be there 😂
When Staind was a slightly more acceptable limp Bizkit
Not pissed anymore but can damn sure bring the demon back
Дуже класно. Вокаліст навіть зараз має хороший голос
Let’s go Brandon.
Andrew Zimmerman got a fuckin voice
Got that country twang thing going on now. Still sounds good though. Can’t keep things the same. Gotta change it up.
Haha what a strange show. I didn’t want to like this….but those screams were just so on point 😂
Love it but guitar mix is frustratingly muddy
Arron Lewis doesn't have to try and he's amazing and he knows he good, Stain was one of the best live shows I've ever seen!
Old School sorta looks like Henry Rollins these days
Most "older" artists sound like they're trying to make up for their shortcomings when they go for audience participation when singing.
This REALLY doesn't seem like that - especially when he hits it low!

No le importa un cárajo!
Okay.
Went country
Am i the only one who had to see this to know what David Cross was doing in the thumbnail?
Vocals on point, but zero energy
ZERO ENERGY
