My Nonna always made it. It’s a traditional Italian dish served over pasta. I never tried making it in the crock pot. I’ve gotta try. I must get those dried onions. I hate cutting onions. Thanks for the great video.

Made chicken masala before but in a braising ceramic pan on the stove. Ingredients were similar. Time was shorter, but I like the idea off making it I a crock pot. Delish over pasta for sure.
I have watched you and Heather make this and I am just going to have to make and try this. It just looks so amazing! I think this would be amazing over the mashed potatoes or the pasta of choice. Wow! It's making my mouth water just thinking about it...lol
I like the idea of the freezedried ? onion as I hate dehydrating garlic and onion...it makes my entire house stink and I have to do it outside! LOL! BTW- I've noticed your fitbit is down?? I'm having troubles with mine; it keeps putting my heart rate at 120 bpm..with SVT that was scaring me so hubby tested me and it was way off ...I was at 56bpm...lol...not sure what happened?

Found the dried wild mushroom at Costco $12, DO NOT get them on Amazon I looked the seller wanted $27 ... phaplease... lol Im getting the mushrooms tomorrow, and will using my cremini mushrooms that I dehydrated this summer from my pantry. I am also going to try it with stew beef and see how it goes. Thank you once again for sharing your amazing talents.
I've had chicken Marsala, in a restaurant they serve it over spaghetti noodles. Now in my house, I make a cross between chicken Marsala and chicken Felicia. So I make the base sauce for the Marsala and then I add the mushrooms, garlic and onion And then here's where it becomes Chicken Felicia, I add wilted spinach to the Marsala sauce And put the chicken on top And then add a piece of mozzarella and melt for a few minutes in the oven. And serve over spaghetti noodles 😊
Thank you Linda for that recipe I have never had that dish at all, do you have to have mushrooms I've never even heard of this recipe. And I just love the videos that you put out there thank you to all you ladies that do this.

If I may ask... does this taste like alcohol and is there still alcohol in it? (I've heard alcohol burns of when you are de-glazing but this has a lid on it so I'm not sure it works the same way) My husband and I don't drink.Thank-you ahead of time. Have a great day!!
My Hubby and I don't care to much for mushrooms, (I know, I know) but can anyone suggest other veggies that would go good with this? It LQQKS amazing, I just know what my hubby's face would look like IF i put it in front of him with the mushrooms? HELP???
My mother-in-law always cooked with mushrooms even though my husband and his dad did not like mushrooms! She always served the cacciatore or the marsala ckn with the mushrooms removed and she ate them! The men loved her cooking. She said that these recipes needed the mushrooms for the authentic taste. She did use capers on the finished dish.

I think your family will enjoy the thighs even better. Breast meat dries out and gets stringy. Thighs stay tender and juicy.
