I think Steven and my hubby are brothers from another mother! I made the Mississippi Chicken Sliders for Football Saturday. When he tasted them, he was as speechless as Steven. After a few, “Wows!” he finally said, “Make these again, PLEASE!”
Winner, winner, chicken dinner, for sure.

My sisters and I used to argue about who would get the bones! They were a treat for us. I love salmon patties. I never thought about doing it in my air fryer oven. I might have to try this!

Mandy: Canned salmon has always contained bones. The skin, bones and liquid are all very good for you and contain calcium and phosphorus. My mother used to make salmon patties and everything was mixed together. It was no big deal. Sometimes, it’s a good idea to move outside your comfort zone.

New sub!! Love your recipes. I wanted to mention…when cooking with lemon you should always add it at the very end of cooking. Here’s why: The last bit of advice with cooking with lemon is true for both zest and juice. Don't add it too early to a dish - when it's still cooking and very hot. When introduced to too much heat for too long, lemon can easily turn bitter and even discolor other ingredients being cooked with it.

@lolacorinne right!! The bones in canned fish are perfectly edible, and should be because they're good for you! It's calcium, much needed! So guess people try to pull out the bones(very tedious)then spend money buy over the counter vitamins to try to get what they need!! I always liked eating them.

Couple of things: 1. I love y’all🥰 2. I’ve been eating salmon croquettes since I could chew and the cans of salmon always have bones in them. I just crush them up with my hands with the bread crumbs and whatever else you mix in there and you’ll never notice them! Although, I do pick out any pieces of skin that I can bc I find it can be fishy and slimy and weird and I do not like that! And 3. The Mississippi chicken sliders have been on repeat in my home since your original video! So easy to start in the morning on my in-office days and so yummy!! My family even likes it over potatoes or rice if they aren’t feeling like sammies and it’s delicious any way you serve it up! Anyhow, Thank y’all for everything! Note: I have not used your recipe, as I found one about a month ago and tried it before seeing your video. It's very similar to yours, so I'm sure your recipe is just as amazing! That's how I make my salmon patties without mayo though. YES! I pick out the bones and remove the skin the silvery stuff. Lemon pepper is great.

I learned from my mom to use a fork to mash the bones and blend them together with the fish.

I've made those Mississippi Sliders about 4 times now! They've become one of our favourite meals! I've even added them to the menu for when the kids come home. Perfection! xx

Greece they make oval shaped meatballs which are easier to brown. They eat a lot of goat meat also. We like Bison better than beef. You can use tuna for patties also.

Wanted to let you know I really enjoy your show and recipes, you can buy salmon in a can that has no bones or skin. It is already cleaned.
And it is a lot more enjoyable ,
    Keep cooking away !

You can buy boneless and skinless canned salmon. It's pricey but worth it. You can also steam some salmon and use it. You have to watch it too because some has the skin on and you have to take it off and remove the dark areas because it has a fishier taste.
