So I watched this video 2 or 3 days ago. The spider web trope for our Halloween set up had been a point of contention for YEARS, with the hubby and I. So, I added no message at all, and just sent your video to him. The very next day he told me to check my email! It showed an invoice and shipping notice for the beef roll! WHOOP WHOOP! He also ordered me a 27" skeleton spider to go with it! He got it from that company you mentioned, it was only $30! THANK YOUUUUUU! You have NO IDEA how EXCITED I am! 😭😭😭 I LOVE spiders! 🕷 🕸 🕷 You guys are BRILLIANT!
Reminds me of a conversation I had with a neighbor the day after Halloween asking me when I'd be taking down my setup.. I asked why? Halloween is only 364 days from now.
I just went to get the beef netting and they literally can't keep up! Not even taking orders online for awhile... Won't get this year I'm afraid. 😪 but I'll get it even more ahead of time next year or maybe for Christmas? Lol! Great ideas, thanks 😊
These look great! I tried a similar effect last year with cheesecloth; 0/10, do not recommend. Just ordered a roll of the beef netting. We're going to cut fewer holes and use it to make tattered sails for our pirate skeleton theme.
If you add lights it takes it up another level at night. Our lights are on ground stakes and they point up the web. Love all the halloween builds you have done!!!
Great video guys, that stuff makes the best webs. I’m still using the first roll I bought about 4 years ago. To make bigger sheets I use white mason string to kind of “stitch” together sections. I really just tie them together and trim off the extra string. Haven’t had any pull apart in the wind yet.
The only time I recommend using the crappy webbing, is if you are doing a haunted house and your guests are being forced to walk through. But I do agree, it is so crappy!!! Fantastic video!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for posting the video! I just ordered some of the netting and cannot wait to turn my gazebo into a spiders nest :) Excited to see more videos and ideas.
Omg i love this channel.🥰🥰 Can't wait for halloween time...hope something like this is available in the netherland. I made the big spider using your tutorial .
A 25 lb roll lasted us about 10 years, and that's without reusing it year to year. It's a great thing. The cool thing is Trenton Mills actually knows we use it for this and they love it! They have a section on their website that has pictures of how people have used it in their yard haunts.
Love the Halloween tips! It's never too early 🎃💀🕷🕸. I wonder if that material would also work for Projections. P.S. Love the Halloween countdown in the background.
A tip for the landscape staples...hit them with some light-colored spray paint before sticking them into the yard...it'll make them sooo much easier to spot should you drop one in the grass!
Hi guys! Love your videos! One question regarding the roll… what was the weight of that roll you used in this video? On the site they have 10lbs or 20lbs options. 😁
I love beef netting! Been using it for years. You can reuse it. Best investment ever. Buy a bulk package of landscape fabric spikesto anchor in the ground. Use zip ties for branches. It's awesome!
For tree lovers: it's actually better for the tree to just screw into it, rather than wrap anything around it. Wrapping around the tree removes more bark, as opposed to making a small hole with a screw, that a tree can actually heal up pretty easily.
I’m a tree lover and doctor of trees lol. Wrapping things around a tree for small amounts of time will cause absolutely zero harm. Bark is pretty hard to chip off unless you’re deliberately pulling strips of bark off. This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Screwing a hole into the tree itself is actually more dangerous for the tree. (Termites, bugs and tree diseases)
I love it. Now you just need to wrap a dummy or doll of a person, and maybe a couple of pets to hang in your webs. If you could make them look like your family was caught by the spiders, and suspended in the web, that would be amazing. Maybe photos of your faces wrapped around a dummy heads would look realistic enough through a layer of "webbing".
Since it comes as a tube you could probably also use it and some bones and fake body parts to make an ensnared victim. Or even use small fake animals and animal skeletons for that. this is giving me some wicked ideas.
Thanks for posting this. I plan to do this this year and having your video is a great help. I bought my roll last January. I can't wait to see what your next project is. Maybe it's something I can incorporate into my yard. :)
I just started using beef netting this year. Much better and doesn't get caught as easily on foliage. At first I thought I messed up but once I started cutting holes it looked better and better.
I bought some last year and ran out of time to actually use it. I'm looking forward to using it this year. I'm planning on making a spider web tunnel over the sidewalk with PVC and covering it with beef netting spider webs. I'll put a projector in the netting at the top pointing down showing a spider infestation from AtmosFX and it should give the neighbors a good scare at night.
Looks amazing. Just an idea but for another project.... perhaps you could do similar to the mummy and have body wrapped and hanging. That would be awesome. Love the videos, me and little girl love hslloween and use your videos to make stuff. Thankyou
Too early?? Never I have been looking for some new videos to come up for about a week now. So bring them on!! I need some ideas, and yes I have several of your older videos saved already.

Hahah well played!!
I can only imagine what your neighbours were thinking while you were putting up Halloween decorations over 100 days early
Hahah it was an interesting conversation
It is never too early for Halloween
Ours are used to it! 😂💀☠️ Mostly for testing the weather!
Reminds me of a conversation I had with a neighbor the day after Halloween asking me when I'd be taking down my setup.. I asked why? Halloween is only 364 days from now.
Halloween isn't a time of year, it's a state of being xD
excellent video, I love that you make content throughout the year.
Yes!!! It’s a way of life.

Not sure if I missed it in the video, but what size netting was that? 5lb? or larger???
Thanks for having us!!!!
@@Sacapuntas69 my hubby just bought the 5lb for me. I haven't received it yet, I hope there's enough! 🙏

Looks great...I have mine , ordered it in July. I'm excited about using it ...planning to start decorating this weekend 🤗😃
Thank you for bringing up the issues with regular spider web material and wildlife! Save that stuff for indoor decor:)
Yes!!
Using beef netting for this is, weirdly fitting and makes it all the more macabre.
Haha yes!!
If you add lights it takes it up another level at night. Our lights are on ground stakes and they point up the web. Love all the halloween builds you have done!!!

Nice!!! Yeah these things last so long. I love the stitching idea.
This tutorial was exactly what I needed to make a major upgrade, all our trick or treaters loved it. Thank you- Happy Halloween!
We JUST got our beef netting in yesterday! Can't wait to try it out.
NICE! Perfect timing
How much beef netting would you recommend? 5lbs 10bs?
@@clinwin7752 5lbs is plenty!
I can’t
Wate for Halloween to come this year I’m so excited and this channel helps me a lot with ideas 🤓
Awesome 🤘🏼😄
Such a simple idea that really transforms the total look! You guys are awesome. I need neighbors like you!
Yes!!! 🤘🏼😄
Is it too early to just fully decorate outside haha? I'm so ready!
Never!! 🤘🏼💀
one of our neighbors already has their 8 foot spider out in their yard, lurking near the street. I love it!
That would be cool to make a flying ghost with... Great video guys. I need to get me some of that.
That’s a good idea!
Would also be good for an alien terrain/infestation look.
Whoa, yes!
Neat! Who knew that beef wrap would make such cool, stretchy spiderwebs. The little spider pods look cool - baby spiders!!
Yes!!! :D
Wrap a mannequin in some of that stuff and make it look like lunch for the spiders! Cool idea!
Haha yes!!
The only time I recommend using the crappy webbing, is if you are doing a haunted house and your guests are being forced to walk through. But I do agree, it is so crappy!!!
Fantastic video!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!! Yes for interior it’s actually not bad
Fantastic idea for Halloween thanks for sharing 🖤🎃💀🧙♀️
Thanks! 😄😄
Thanks for posting this! Just ordered a roll! Now to get started on that giant spider from your other tutorial :D
Awesome!! 🤘🏼😄
I just found fd these guys! There's spider tutorial? I'm in! Happeeeee Halowwen Summer! 😁 🕷 🕸 💀
beef netting can be bought at butcher shops and restaurant supply stores, you can also use cheesecloth or stretchy shelf liner :)
Nice video! My wife loves decorating, especially for Halloween, so I immediately sent this her way.
Thanks man 🤘🏼😄
Yall should have been playing No Doubt: Spiderwebs in the background ♥️
Hahha yes!
Great video. Now to get some beef carcass wrapping stuff😂
Thanks! 😄
I actually have this same type of fabric, I got it at Walmart in the precut fabric section, any sort of fabric that’s a stretching netting can work!
That's a great idea! I used the same thing for a mummy costume- highly recommend stuff!
Yep!!!
Thanks for posting the video! I just ordered some of the netting and cannot wait to turn my gazebo into a spiders nest :) Excited to see more videos and ideas.

🤘🏼😄 That’s great!
Love how the holes give the floor web
I have seen tarantula webs and they look similar to this hole-ish awesome simple decoration
That looks pretty awesome. However, personally, I use a giant soccer goal net.
Whoa!! That sounds awesome.

Correction...we bought the 5 lb roll
Funny I was going to say 25lbs would be a LOT! 😄 It’s great stuff.

P.S. Love the Halloween countdown in the background.

More ideas! 🤪🤪🤪Woo Hoo!! You two are the dynamic duo!! Thank you for sharing!!
Haha yes!! Thanks for watching 😄
Thank you so much for the video and the links. Can't wait to get my roll and start making webs!!
Awesome!!
This video is very helpful! I ordered mine about a month ago from Amazon. It stretches out to 450 sq ft. I'm excited to set it up!
I say the scrunch cut method actually worked in your favor. It gives it a bit more organic look.
🤣🤣 Thanks Charles!
I live in australia and halloween is in daylight so weve started halloween in June for our grandkids and its awesome
I wonder if you could make another mummy using this material? Or make a cool-looking ghost outline like some people do with cheesecloth.
Yes!!!!
Yeeeessss 🎃Halloween is not just a holiday it's a mindset! 😂😂😂
It’s a way of life!
Is it better to have it already stretched and then cut holes or should you cut the holes first and then stretch?
We prefer to stretch it first
They have these at Spirit Halloween!! They’re sponsored! I bought these two weeks ago from Spirit. It’s called “wicked webbing”.
Hi guys! Love your videos! One question regarding the roll… what was the weight of that roll you used in this video? On the site they have 10lbs or 20lbs options. 😁
Smallest one you can get. 10lbs is a lifetime worth for one house. 😄
@@WickedMakers an excellent investment lol thanks very much!
I have been looking everywhere for beef netting. Where did u guys get it
Link is in the description but they’re sold out for the season already. I think you can get on the waiting list though.
that stuff is awesome. I want to make haunted sausages now! :)

Received my beef netting today. Anxious for Halloween this year
Nice!!! 😄😄😄
Good idea! The Minecraft spider caught me by surprise and was a good laugh that I really needed.

We made it! Check our other videos. 🤘🏼💀
I wish we all lived on the same block so we could be the Halloween neighborhood.
Hahaha yes!!
well I wish I would have known this is hard to get before i started looking. I REALLY REAAAALLLY need some
I mean I’m also watching this in July soooo
Planning on finally going DIY this Halloween, thanks to you guys
Great video. Do you have a suggestion on which kind is better? Polyester, or poly/cotton blend?
We use the polyester!
How wide is the roll you used?
We had a trunk or treat at our church. We used webbing from Dollar Tree; it was a mess! This is a much better idea.
This kind of fabric is called stockinette. You can often find in in auto supply stores too.
Interesting!
That's a better way to make web than that store bought web . 👍👍
I just ordered the netting can’t wait!
Nice!!
Great, helpful and HILARIOUS video!! Thanks!!

What type of beef netting did u use the poly/cotton or just polyester ?
Polyester
Love yalls hair this year! Y’all look so young. Great project!!
😄😄😄 thanks!
Wish I would of seen this sooner so I could of ordered it in time. I'm still gonna order it and I'll have it next year.
Thanks to both of you! By any chance do you have a video on how to make a giant spider you have in your yard?

Spirit Halloween also sells these motors that can either shake or drop hanging props, so that can probably add more to it.
This would also be Perfect for a Stranger Things themed Haunt, for the look of the "Upside Down"!
Yes!!!!
Same material Knott's Scary Farm uses. At least they did when I worked there.

Instead of strips would it be better to cut the strip from one corner to the opposite one? Making a triangle instead?

I wish we had this type of product in Sweden
I've always wondered how people got that awesome spider web effect. It looks great.
Looks great I hope tendmill still has some
Hello , in the video what size box did u use , 5 pound, 10 pound ? I want to order the material.
We got a 5lb roll
I have also had success with white yarn, though usually at a smaller scale. You can get the cheap stuff and if you are careful it is reusable.
Yep! Just have to be careful.
Question can it be dyed or spray painted ? Like I love the look of neon green spider web
Looks amazing. Just an idea but for another project.... perhaps you could do similar to the mummy and have body wrapped and hanging. That would be awesome. Love the videos, me and little girl love hslloween and use your videos to make stuff. Thankyou
Nice project, but for some reason it reminds of something you would see in an add from the 50's about future tech in 2050.
How does it handle in weather like snow and wind?
Unsure on snow but rain and wind are no problem!
Too early?? Never I have been looking for some new videos to come up for about a week now. So bring them on!! I need some ideas, and yes I have several of your older videos saved already.

Webbing the entire house would look like something from a horror movie!
Yes!!!!
Kinda reminds me of the spider scene in the 1st Hobbit movie... Cool😃
Yes!!!!!
It looks like it would be good for making egg sacs and a mummy too
And you did the sacs 😊
Oh yeah 100%
Thanks for the video.. Just grabbed a roll.
Excellent!
Can you use a cheesecloth to do the same thing?
What size was the roll you got? 5Lbs, 10Lbs, or the 25Lbs? So I can gauge how much to get for my house.
Did you use the 100% poly option or the cotton / poly mix ?
Are you using the cotton or polyester one
Curious on this as well. Polyster is way cheaper too.
