    I can't help myself, had to rewind several times to be sure I heard it... lay-lowing fog! I want some! 😉 love the video, I do a lot of the same but this may be my first giant spider!

    I discovered and purchased the beef netting just before I found your video. I'm looking forward to using it. Now I have to see how you made your giant spider, I've always wanted to make one for my roof. Thank you for sharing a very informative video. Great work...Loved it.

    Amazing work! It's somewhat simplistic,yet with a big look. That projector on the pumpkins,is so cute,and gives it a good balance. That spider is absolutely amazing though !!

    Cling wrap works but they make black caps for the drain tube. Would look cleaner and could have a few holes of it's own.

    Hello! So inspired from this project that we are currently building our own giant spider! 🕷 I doubt it will turn out like yours but hopefully pretty close. The only thing that sucks is that I can’t do the cool purple lights in my house since I have a street light next to my house and it is already very bright! But oh well. I think it will turn out fine. My only concern to be honest is that I don’t have any budget left to buy lots of candy. Hopefully people won’t expect tons of candy 🍭 because we certainly can’t afford. Any advice? Thanks!

    Did you use spray adhesive to attach the pool noodles, styrofoam box to the cardboard? Did you cut the pantyhose? 🤣 I'm wondering about the leg part of them and if you stretched them over the head as well.

    • @thelavenderlemon7509
      @thelavenderlemon7509  3 роки тому

      Yes, spray adhesive for everything that needed sticking. It worked fast and hot glue just melts foam…yes we cut the pantyhose legs off to cover the top of the spider leg segments - a lot like a sock. We used the control top part of the pantyhose to drape over the head to create eyelids.

      Thank you!!!! Over the years we’ve collected a few and they varied from 20 Watts to 50 Watts. We used 10 of them, with some shining in the house and others onto objects. Here’s the link:

    I was looking for diy giant spider and your video came up. What an amazing way to decorate for Halloween. If I may ask, the file downloaded from atmos, can you use it every year or is it one time use only? Second, when the projector is turned on with the downloaded file, is it on a loop to keep repeating the show?

    • @thelavenderlemon7509
      @thelavenderlemon7509  2 роки тому

      We are glad you found us! We can use the Atmos download whenever. Ours does loop and plays for as long as we want it to, but our understanding is that it’s based upon the media player device.

    • @NoviceDIYerNoel
      @NoviceDIYerNoel 2 роки тому

      @@thelavenderlemon7509 ok. What do you guys use as a media player? I went to checkout Atmos, impressed with their products. Planning to get the new ones.... or maybe the same ones you got.. the singing pumpkins. Lol. Thank you for your response. 🙂

      @@NoviceDIYerNoel the pumpkins are so fun and the kids LOVED them! Download the file onto a thumb drive. Depending upon your projector it should be as easy as plug and play. For whatever reason the projector we had would not recognize the USB so we got this media player, plugged the USB into that and the HDMI into the projector and it worked great.

      @@thelavenderlemon7509 I may need to investigate the capability of my projector. Just purchased today the dancing zombies. The floating candles have purple in them, is that how they were purchased or is that just thr reflection of the led lights?

    • @thelavenderlemon7509
      @thelavenderlemon7509  2 роки тому

      It’s just a reflection of the LED lights. The candles themselves burn yellow.

    My only complaint is I wish the legs had a shopping list of how many elbows, what size PVC, and such.

    • @thelavenderlemon7509
      @thelavenderlemon7509  2 роки тому +1

      We agree…We made it up as we went along and didn’t anticipate making it into a video either. Having a list would be a nice addition…The 3 leg segments were all 18-22” - just be consistent with what length you choose for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd segment. For the PVC joints we just got a bag of both 45 & 90 degree elbows that we grabbed from.
