Thanks for the interesting video on Ikigai 2.0. When I was living in Japan, I was suprised to learn that Ikigai can be something a lot simpler, like taking care of grandchildren or growing flowers. Ikigai at that level is not directly connected to economy and earning money, but about meaningfulness. I have come to realize that if we follow our passions and interest can also be a danger. I know a woman who wanted to be an actress and ended up really poor, with no pension plan and a lot of broken dreams. We need to be clear minded about our passions and the consequences of chasing our dreams. Besides, often a dream turns out to be very different in reality. A realistic mindset is essential in life. But that is also inportant in the process of ikigai. Ikigai is not something we accidentally find, but something we work to discover.

Hi Vicky, I have discovered your channel 2 days back and since then, I am not able to stop watching your videos. Your natural way of explaining compleix concepts is really amazing, and it reminds me of Dr. Angela Yu's way of teaching programming in Python. Please consider making a video on those Multi-passionate that might sometimes feel stuck in thier lives. Thank You :)

Think in verbs not nouns for what you're good at is a TOTAL MINDSET SHIFT!!! Damn... I was exactly like what you said, I don't feel comfortable saying I'm good at something bcuz it feels like such a big statement. But phrasing it in a verb don't seem as intimidating. THANK YOU

Being a people pleaser, overthinker and asian background (parent's high expectations) has not been a good combo in my self-understanding & self-esteem. You hit a lot of main points on how I think, its quite incredible haha. Thank you for such useful insights

U described me.... People pleasing worry of Messing up, no framework of anything I mean anything, Literally I overthink & Don't focus on reading the direction of my classroom for example, so anything new I approach with fear. Until I repeat it I become GREAT AT it but only at the Extreme Ocd One system way of it.. Hence Pivoting or adapting is difficult for me. All to say, I am a huge overthinker... So my life just Volatile.... Emotionally burned situations, procrastination Plagued. And thus my brain is 100mph...Asian fam too NOT the same crazy Pressur but Definitely they never were ablen2 help me With homework or learn. Cuz they Were working immigrants. . AND I WENT to an oversized class Filled school with no direct attention.... But the moment a teacher taught me So piece by piece like The Creators frame work.. I learned & past that exam fast.

Thank you so much for your videos. I find them really genuine and valuable. Please do the video on being multi passionate! I have been confused all my life about this. I love what I am doing but i feel drawn to others and i end up dropping what I'm doing and going after the other. But i really do love it all and i feel bad for leaving it behind. I trust your analysis and your judgement and it will be great to know what you think!

I saw two of your videos one being this and other being how to articulate your thoughts
You are making really nice videos.
One things I had on my mind was - do you have any platform where people could discuss with you how to overcome challenges they might be facing in trying to apply your solutions ?
