If it cut an oval when it pulled up it can cut your hand. Long sleeves, Jewelry, no safety glasses, not securing the workpiece are all safety violations. Never use this video to train students!
at the 5 minute mark with that drill bit, how were you able to touch it while it was running? I'd never do this at work. we use a kreg bit and it has sharp sides all up it. if i tried that i'd get hurt i am sure.
