No matter how many times I listen to Dr. MacArthur, I always, always see scripture through fresh eyes even though I am 77 and have macula degenerative disease. The world has been given a gift with the teachings of Dr. MacArthur by the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Heavenly Father, your daughter, in Christ.

I was hell bent and hell bound; sure deserve hell. But, for a reason and purpose only He knows, He saved me. I cannot articulate how grateful I am because the words I know aren’t sufficient. Oh how I love Him.

Once again very edifying. Remember, it’s loving to warn people of hell. It’s not loving to give them false assurance, that is, to affirm efforts of salvation without repentance and not doing what Jesus said to do. You must repent. You must do what Jesus said to do. You cannot get to heaven by being a good person. No matter how good you think you are ,your standards or not the same as Gods.
I know Jesus, I beleive I'm born again, but I'm so guilty of calling people fools and idiots. I'm critical of Godless people. I condemn the government and people in government every time I read the news. I have such anger in my heart from the wicked ways of powers on this planet in todays world. I struggle so much with it. I pray that God softens my heart to the Godless. Then I think it's OK to hate the evil, but not the lost who projects it. It's very hard for me to do. Father God help me with my heart. Show me how to deal with the evil ones being led by demonic forces and satan himself. I want to please you, yet I know my hard heart does not please you. I'm a sinner in need of repentance each and every day.

Wow! The idea that sinners cannot stop sinning in hell and cannot repent blew my mind! It is scary to think that when we live in a culture that is given over to the judgment of God, by evidence of their gross and obvious sin, that the wrath of God is eminent. May God call his people from this world!
God bless John MacArthur, from now into eternity. He is one of the greatest voices of and for God that have ever graced this Earth. Thank you for your continued teachings and for your service to our Lord.

Been listening/watching pastor John for over 30 years. Sadly NOT many left who speak truth like him. He preaches the word and the rest takes care of it self. Sobering message, makes me sad that young pastors DO NOT model their sermons after him. Lord I praise you and thank U for your mercy on my soul.
I needed to hear this, I've always struggled with the eternity of hell and Lord watch over MacArthur because he's obviously struggling with a health issue. Amen

I know a very nice lady who hasn't left her house since 2020 in fear of covid. She masks it very well. She drives and has her food delivered to her car. She takes her cat to the vet, they come pick her cat up from her car. She went to memorial service once since 2020. She has been to the doctor twice from a fall. Everything else is over zoom. She lines up for every vaccine n booster available. She lives in complete terror but doesn't see things that way. I love her dearly but it's very sad to see.
John MacArthur and voddie baucham are two of the only biblical pastors left.

He usually reads from NASB or possibly the new translation Legacy Standard Bible.

I know this may be off topic but comments are turned off on the sermon John gives that says we are Gods "slaves". This is the single most disturbing proposition I have heard from Mr. Macarthur and has turned me away from watching very often. I find it very difficult to accept that our lord god would want be us to be slaves. I worship, admire and obey God and Jesus in appreciation for our creation and salvation. But not out of fear that I will be struck down or punished if I do not submit to being a slave. That is a barbaric point of view that I find very hard to believe comes from our perfect creator and savior and is likely the perspective of man being woven into the bible. Please help me understand.
