- Disclaimer: This was recorded before ranked dropped. I played ranked yesterday and I still see the problems I discussed in the video. Adding more game modes and characters will not fix the issues I have with the base game itself.

i completley disagree i think this game is finally heading in the right direction. The first season was rough for sure ironing out all the issues, but it does seem like they are moving forward on the correct path. i can see how being bored of games would tend to make a negative outlook on certain video games though. that makes complete sense as i have been there before. good luck on your journey.
Heading in the right direction is not something to praise if those “steps forward” are just little tip toes.
There are way more negatives than positives.
It’s literally unplayable in a high level/competitive stand point.
IT took them two years to get a half cooked sorry excuse for a fighting game.
I’m sorry but it’s kinda cope to say you disagree with this video, I’m happy you’re having fun playing casually for an hour or so, but the people who really sunk there teeth into it see so many issues.
Hit boxes are whack af, some characters are straight up broken, I main Batman and 1 in 5 matches my grappling hook completely bug out and gets me killed, 1 in 10 matches I get stuck on a platform in a free fall state, and sometimes I’ll get a hit the noise happens but I don’t actually hit anyone.
Sometimes my batarang just disappears for no reason at all.
The game is a disaster when you get into the nitty gritty,
Just because they took one tiny tip toe into the right direction doesn’t mean we should start to glaze them.
Plus we waiting so long for ranked mode and they give us a meaningless grind, the leader boards too.
The more you play the game, the higher rank/leaderboard placement you will have, it’s not a skill based ranking system which is wild. Any other ranked game you lose “RP” and can de rank, in multiversus you lose literally 2 RP for a loss but gain 20+ for a win.
Wtf is that?? So even the worst player will make it to masters with enough play time.
If your literally the best player but only play for a few hours, the worse player will be above you on the leaderboards because he’s spamming games faster than you.
It’s a grind fest for fake bragging rights, an absolute joke and a tragedy of a “competitive fighter”

I 100% agree and we shouldnt have to feel almost bad for feeling this way since we actually enjoyed the game at the start, or simply tolerated it until the devs fix their bs, they didnt.
the devs arent taking this seriously and dont seem to respect their players and the huge drop in players says a lot about weather the game is good or not. I personally was so excited for the full release and within the first few days was extremely disappointed. yes you can find fun matches if you play but for me I lose interest playing really quick since the game simply doesnt work and like you said, doesnt feel polished..
I think y'all just played the beta for 2 years and got tired of the game. I played it when it first came out and just came back and I'm enjoying it a lot. Imo you guys are massively overstating the issues because you spent 2 years playing the beta in a literal unfinished state.

this is the reason i dont follow channels anymore to negeative . im suppouse to feel away about a game because you have adhd . the team is obvisloy detacatied to fixing the game it get beter with each patch and the roster is cooking so iconic . is it prefect no but its getting better and better and im here for it also they need yosamite sam

Game definitely is super janky. Feels like a much worse smash bros. Hitboxes are shitty asf. Getting hit with a moves while behind someone and someone’s attacking the total opposite way or getting eatin by a taz while being a mile away from them. Just makes it super unfun and makes you feel like the game is not for a competitive audience

I don't understand how you can say that tbh. I came to this game from smash and to me the experience is 10x better. The fine details are not on the smash level, but online is so much better it's not even funny. Input lag basically ruins online smash for me, and I get close to none on MV. There are some bag hit boxes but it's not anywhere near as bad as y'all make it out to be.
I found this channels rick tutorials which actually made me start playing rick but I think it would be better to move on from the game, I know I have. it simply is not fun anymore and idk how people sit here saying the game is fun or the game is fine, ppl just be d**k riding the game n gaslighting ppl. the player count drop speaks for itself I tried a few matches yesterday and the game still feels terrible and characters still aint balanced >:|
It’s just full of sweats now all the casuals quit
