Much better to have her cooking after a long day of work. I love coming home to a healthy meal already whipped up and ready for me. If I could get on the grill or stove more I would, but some days just get too tiring. Blessed to have a wife that cooks amazing meals for me everyday.

The interesting thing I've see is how none of the older folks I know who are still married outside of my grandparents had remotely successful "traditional marriages". I genuinely think that is mostly a myth and was used to prop up the family unit during war and hard times. My grandmother worked as an army nurse a good chunk of her life and her husband in law as well. The ones I know who are divorced didnt really divy up tasks properly and one got pissed at the other. I genuinely am not convinced completely "traditional"relationships have worked since before the 1900s. Task delegation can be used to ease tensions

    • @johnmcternan4157
