As someone else has said the bushes with the yellow flowers is called Gorse, it’s got narly thorns but the flowers are edible and there’s recipes to make wine and beer with them. When you go to Scotland the midges are just starting so take some repellent. As for those DofE kids, they’re not allowed to wild camp so they will of been at some form of established camp site. Well done mate, loving your vids 👍

I'm lagging way behind for one reason or another. Missed the bonkers jaunts!Will have to put Shropshire on the map and visit sometime. That area of Wales is stunning as is most of Wales but then I'm biased! Can't wait to go to Pistyll Rhaeadr for a jolly..it is a stunning drive and waterfall. re toilet in the car, I have my desperado bin... it's a small bucket with a lid...tight fitting. I then put two compost friendly bags in it with some cat litter at the bottom. Number 2 fastened up tightly then binned ASAP in a convenient dog poo bin. No unpleasant odour! I have only ever had to resort to this once in mny years of van/car camping fortunately. Had to go and Spitify Toots and the Maytals after you mentioned them... love a bit of Ska/ Reggae. Diolch Adam 🏴
had a few trips since this one buddy, lol brilliant with the poo buckets its not a bad call to be fair i could possibly store it in the roof rack and now im typing it it makes perfect sense .... love the old skool reggae man some of the best vibe music out there, brings back great memories of dayz gone by 😄

Just a quick one, the wind break (around the stove) is upside down. If you have it with the cut-outs at the bottom, it lets a breeze through and keeps it a little more steady than the other way up. But what a view to cook and eat a meal with! jealous much :) happy days.

The campsite the DofE use is at Rattlinghope. Living in the Shire we have that view everyday. Spent many a night in the van up on the mynd. Keep up the good vids and being on Wales doorstep is fab.

Omd that made me chuckle. ‘Wild poo!’ It’s the only issue with car camping. I’ve prepped for 1 with the ‘she-wee’ but omd it’s got to be a trowel and a freezer bag of sawdust for the trek 🤣 it’s funny though I was out with my fur-baby Frank today in Leicestershire green fields and I thought of you when I stepped over the trail turnstile. It had the dog hatch (guillotine style) I had to pick him up and carry him over! He was having none of it and he’s a heavy boy 🤣

Maybe try Quorn chunks instead of chicken or pork ?? It’s made from mushroom protein but it tastes good and wouldn’t give you food poisoning if it was a bit off !! It’s about £2.50 for a decent sized bag in Aldi - frozen section.

Ha ha love it - one of my favourite roads at the end - Bwlch-y-groes :-) They used to test cars and bikes up there back in the day. I drove over in the snow once, not my smartest moment! If you ever venture further south from there into the Cambrian mountains, I can suggest a few places you might like. It's always a lot quieter than snowdonia. I'm hoping to head out in the car for a night this week 👍

Hello Adam. I did a walk last week following someone else's route. Found it in Country Walking magazine. The instructions weren't very clear, it was difficult to follow. I gave up with it when I got lost in a wood. I will stick with a map and make up my own routes. I don't have a fancy phone like your's. Old school paper maps suit me better. ilona
lost in the woods (ive not done that too many times) even with 'an app', wish i could read and use a proper os map to be fair im sure id find some great spots

The yellow bush you thought was some type of bracken is called gorse.
We call it furze in central Ireland as well.

Ha ha love it - one of my favourite roads at the end - Bwlch-y-groes :-) They used to test cars and bikes up there back in the day. I drove over in the snow once, not my smartest moment! If you ever venture further south from there into the Cambrian mountains, I can suggest a few places you might like. It's always a lot quieter than snowdonia. I'm hoping to head out in the car for a night this week 👍

its an old one now, dji mavic pro 1 4k @30fps id prob go a mavic mini 2 now if had the choice or of course the mini 3 wow

Hello Adam. I did a walk last week following someone else's route. Found it in Country Walking magazine. The instructions weren't very clear, it was difficult to follow. I gave up with it when I got lost in a wood. I will stick with a map and make up my own routes. I don't have a fancy phone like your's. Old school paper maps suit me better. ilona
lost in the woods (ive not done that too many times) even with 'an app', wish i could read and use a proper os map to be fair im sure id find some great spots

no worries buddy none all m8, i remember ur comment from the last vid, im kinda trying to push the boundaries to see what works, i need better thumbnails aswell to go with the titles but .... because i normally have to include the car makes it difficult any feedback would be cool m8 honestly, been watching a few youtube tip vids, i should have had a few seconds at the start of the video to explain the title and thumbnail like a shot of what i say also,
