Visit Wales - on this trip we discover the food and drink of South and West Wales. Including restaurants and Welsh vineyards and the farmers who grow the potatoes and farm the sheep on the Salt Marshes of the Gower. We even visit some artisan charcuterie producers who put a Welsh twist on some Italian classics.
Not only did we enjoy rediscovering our local area but we want to share our enthusiasm with visitors to the UK and get more of you to cross that bridge and experience all that #Wales has to offer.

Cardiff, the capital city of Wales is only about 2 hours by train from London and from it is not far to the South and the West Wales coast.

Wales looks like a fantastic place to explore. I've never thought of it as a wine and food destination. Looks like there are some fabulous wineries and restaurants.
The wine was very good and the food was outstanding. Combined with the great beaches and countrysides it's a great place to visit.

Laverbread - I used to hate it as a kid but quite enjoyed it with the salami.
What could possibly go wrong?! So fun and I'd love to explore Wales food and drink on sunny days like that. Love the idea of sausage with seaweed too.
That salami was really nice and so was the chorizo with brandy. We've had 4 weeks of sun since that day when the sun first came out.
Would love a sip of that - love a good wine!! Awww those little puppies!! Would love to visit Wales some day!

Yes I can understand that wine and charcuterie may not be your first idea of Wales.
Some really nice shots and editing in there! And I almost died with all those cute little puppies... the sheep were pretty cute too though. lol
The sheepdog pups were really cute. The farmer wanted us to take one home with us. Those sheep were really loud, they weren't happy as they had just started shearing them.
Wales is not the first destination that jumps to ones mind when thinking about wine. We love Wales cant wait to visit again
We were surprised at how good the wine was, All of the places we visited were within 20 minutes to about 2 hours from Cardiff.
We have only been to Northern Wales maybe a trip to the south is required

Am someone who can not make out the difference between Wine A and Wine B, but I do like the vineyards and the rows and rows of grapes plantations and the fact that they are always away from the civilization. Wales looks beautiful.
I'm sure you'll notice the difference between the wines, maybe a bit more drinking practice. Agree, the location of vineyards are usually very pretty and relaxing.

don't judge me. I didn't know there is a vineyard in Wales. I was told there is one in England. BTW, I had a short trip to the west of Wales and I fell in love with it
There are now over 350 wine producers in the UK, mainly due to the milder climate in the last 25 years. West Wales is a beautiful part of the world.
If only the weather would be better.....It looks amazing and I see just stunning places! nice wine, love wine ... not love so much lamb...but maybe the one there is delicious...
We've had 4 weeks of sun, can't remember the last time we've had such warm and dry weather in Wales.

How awesome to try wine right from the Vineyard in Wales. It's kicking off in Wales with all them sheep. Chorizo sounds lovely, not a big fan of larva bread though.
Those sheep were not happy, they were in the process of shearing. The Chorizo with Brandy was very good.
I never would have suspected Wales to be a wine and culinary destination! I'm going to go follow in your footsteps now... but I'm concerned you already drank all the wine!
Don't worry, they've got a few more bottles hidden away from me for visitors.
The estate is beautiful. I love how they add “With rooms”. Is that in case people drink too much wine?
You don't get as drunk when you are tasting. Well, that's what we thought but some of us were 'tasting' more than others.
Crack me up the tasting in the vineyard you had already drunk most of it. What do you mean by common land?
Yes, the wine was very good, so I drank it pretty fast.
Common land is not owned by the farmer it may be owned by the council or even privately but people have the right to access it and certain farmers are allowed to let their cattle graze on it.
