When Blake defends the point. He will defend EXCLUSIVELY the point.
I'm paid for protection services only, want any more - cough up the dough
🤣
At least he does defend the point. Too many bronzes treat it like deathmatch and say screw the point.
I'd rather my teammate never leave point than to never get on it 🤣
this is the way.
He's just standing there, menacingly 💀

Unironically about 50% of Hog's effectiveness against me, as a support main.
His very existence causes me to play differently to a noticeable degree, even if he does absolutely nothing.
He did exactly what the game told him too, he attacked the objective, then he defended the objective, would of loved to seen a payload map
look man I got to masters with this exact same strategy, it pays off in the long run trust
Never got to worry about a C9 when you have a Blake on your team though😂

Blake plays 100% as someone who’s playing the game for the first time at a friend’s house. All they were told about the game was “you have a square and you have to defend it” and were given simple characters. Speaking from experience
You gotta give Blake credit, his commitment to defending the objective as Rein and not hooking with Hog in respect is quite a sight to behold lol

“Does he think melee is hook?”
The fact that the answer to that question isn’t 100% “no” is a testament to how Bronze OW is a different game.
It’s a different timeline entirely, a different species of players you could say
bronze players are mutations that scientists are still trying to study to this day
14:00 I went ahead and counted, Blake went from 450 hp to 0 in 32 frames or just over 1/2 a second at 60fps
thank you for your service in this analysis of the main tank experience
The only reason it wasn’t faster was because it was bronze
and that is why concentrated fire with orisa ult is _absolutely_ terrifying. When it's not blocked and directed to one target, that target is just dead.
After playing a lot of OW i can say without a peak of doubt that Blake is a small kid playing for the first time guided by a 40 years old player that is texting.
A "peak of doubt?"
@@sphrcl. do u prefer "a drop of certainty"?
@@chilarius well I've never heard of a peak of doubt.
That Rein was the absolute embodyment of what MTD is.
His goals and motivations are beyond human comprehesion.
One Tank to rule them all, One Tank to find them,
One Tank to bring them all and in the Objective bind them
In the Land of Bronze where the Shadows lie
When I started studying literature, this was the literature I wanted to study. Needless to say I am disappointed and in debt.
Tom Bombadil energy. No care for the world of man, he is the master.
I get a real sense of "Someone let their kid play on their account but they clicked competitive instead of quickplay" from Blake13 😂
You know what? That just might be correct. I mean, his account is at 163 lvl, absolutely no one at lvl 163 would play like this, even in bronze
We are not watching Blake, we're watching Blake's little brother XD
Yes lmao! He’s almost 7.
My personal take was that he was playing high. I've seen a few quick play players mention that they're high, so i don't see why it wouldn't translate into bronze.
@@KaseyC.cocaine must be ones drug of choice if they’re choosing *Overwatch* to play while high, jesus christ
the fact that the ana is in the same game as this rein is exactly why we need a hard SR reset and bring back performance based SR gain.
Performance based SR gain is a thing from bronze-plat. Once you hit diamond, the SR gain is based on the average SR of your team VS the enemy team.
The hard reset won't do anything cause the Ana will throw the games she needs to stay at the same rank.
@@setshuei nah I went from miserable games with shitty teammates struggling get out of silver but when I made an alt account to try to get a sr reset I got low plat. People tank there SRs at the beginning of their career at lvl 25 and then unless they grind for months and months for a dozen hours a week they can’t get out of that rank.
I agree with Dva.
@@zacharyhorton3139 this ana could definitely rank up , the game play here to me looked at least platinum . It’s crazy how much bronze teams can hinder people. With that being said I made it out of silver to master with a 70% WR so

Blake is the perfect example of what I expect to see from bronze. I specially loved his decision to hard shield even when there was no enemy on sight, but then to try charging an ulting Hog instead of trying to shield that.
I think it’s funny how in every spectating bronze episode you find someone else to watch and completely forget about the actual person who sent the vod 😂
Cause he always manages to find someone way more interesting than the one who submitted 😂

Probing for more data points to peer into his brain? I'd be interested too tbh. I hope we're all laughing about some college students Neural Network AI learning how to play OW, and not some 8yo kid.

With the way he shields his team non stop, I feel like he will say it is okay guys when he loses.
I think people forget QP exists sometimes and that you can get skilled at the game without playing comp. I don't mean Flats btw I mean the people in chat who said the Ana is a smurf because she could aim, and had good game sense. Bronze border 5 star means she still has hundreds of hours in the game, if she didn't get somewhat good in that amount of time there'd be an issue.
That. I started to play ranked literally after palying QP with my friends for like 500 hours.
yup, you can even see from their screenshot at the beginning of the video, even though it's blurry, they have hundreds of hours in qp and like less than 20 hours in comp, this is just an experienced player who's only started comp recently.
was curious so checked overbuff to confirm, yeah, 1400+ games in qp, 40 in comp. chat can be so braindead...
Blake is like Saitama. doesn't use hook cause he knows he doesn't need it until he is serious.
This notification was right next to one from super: "Do NOT play Roadhog in 2022"
Thank you and super for the five seconds of hilarity
pretty similar thing happened to me today, played roadhog on my first game of the day and found out my RB button on my controller broke. Went the whole game without self healing. Still won tho.
Okay y'all, new game until OW2 drops: the Blake13 challenge. Hold still until the enemy is close enough to kiss (on the mouth) and then go hard.
poor blake probably logged in for the first time since release
You cant miss hooks if you never try ;)
Regardless of anything else I automatically respect a roadhog who just decides not to use hook.
Bro turned into an irl road hog lmao 9:33
Blakes alil confused but he has... some kind of spirit...
please don't tell me the 13 in blake13 is referring to Blakes birth year being 2013
Idk it's a possible xdd
Blake was determined to not let the point go, that is some strong level of commitment.
Maybe Blake13 is born in 2013?
Would make sense if this player is 9 years old 😂
I like how Flats did probably exactly what the post wanted and watched the "interesting" rein. I feel like this person may have been backcapped once and said "never letting that happen again". I could see why the Mercy was pulling the pistol cuz she wanted so bad to not wait until the enemy was on point to engage when rein forced everyone else to pick between having a barrier and being in position. And just... the threadbare understanding of how the hero worked, instead just holding up shield so to never be caught off guard, literally. They didn't know how to shatter, or that the shield recharges when down, or that you can't buffer shield when swinging the hammer.
Blake is exactly what you would expect if dogs could play overwatch
Blake is that guy who really commits to a thing once he's made up his mind. I respect that.
Im convinced that in bronze there are people who are just sandbagging the games to keep themselves down there , troll or whatever else goes on in their mind.
Blaze was a visionary, he saw the rework coming
I love the fact that blake has somehow stuck it out for 167 levels without knowing how to play lmao
low level healers are good always, mostly the ones i meet that aren’t insta locking zen or lucio- are wonderful and the sweetest
Always? Did you see blue team Ana throw the game by trying to 1v6 (well 5 cause Blake) for no reason???
Imagine playing a game of Overwatch 2 and your tank is this guy
Yup...that's gonna be a problem. It's already hard to relay on most of people in team and they want us to have 1 tank? Good luck xD (often tank saves the game taking over dps role). RIP wins.
That's why I'm anxious for open queue.
there will be a bunch of new players playing like this on release
brace yourselves lol
@@johnsonspark171 Yeah it is pretty hard to play a game that’s not out yet, good job bud
@@MyuNeptune 1 tank also means you can punish 1 tanks mistakes allot more. hence if you understand what your doing you can basically win that game up to a certain point where dps will have insane aim and punish you for trying to sleep or anti or even wall of the tank.
also with 5 people in the game your impact will also be felt more. even if your rein does absolutely nothing your still going to get ult charge as a support.
Another thing is that if it's a new player you can also just try to explain why he shouldn't do that and he might follow /lead you.
I know I was like Blake when I played tank for a good 8+ hours or more until someone explained this to me.
there will also be allot more tanks and players so the chances of getting a rein like that when tanks are super powerful is pretty slim imo. because before he gets in comp he will get absolutely rolled 100 times over or someone explains what he's doing wrong
Someone call the La Gladiators, we have a sub for Reiner
nah reiner subs for him when hes sick
Well he did say his rein had an interesting strategy
I can guarantee blake is having more fun than anyone else in this comment section, he is just on another level of vibe.
This type of Rein is so tragic lfmao
Thats why people mask their lack of hability with other tanks, because with Rein it's even MORE obvious that you don't know what you're doing
Thx flats for saying it
It always baffles me how people keep blaming other players when they dont see that even if your team is dumb that doesn't mean your not as bad as them
Blake is 100% discovering the game. It’s as if i was giving my pc to my father. It’s written « attack the point » si he charges in. It’s written « defend objective B » so he takes a shield and defend it.
14:02 Wait. So he knew that the shift button existed and could do something? I thought he just didn't know it could do anything after the hog round. He knew he could use it but actively chose not to. I'm a little upset about that.
(Or he pressed it accidentally)
Blake is not human, he is in fact an experimental AI transferred from WoW. Parks himself in the center of the objective and only reacts if you pull aggro
Spectating bronze on Father's Day, yesssss!
I had a game once where our Orisa walked back to 1st point hanamura when they enemy team already capped it. Literally walked out of 2nd point towards 1st I was stunned lol had to be a kid or something blake13 is def 6 years old 😆
Nah, 9. I'd put money on them being born in 2013
6, almost 7 actually.
Blake...I hope your out there defending your persons heart like you defend the point. 🤣🔥🥰
Maybe Blake thinks he's playing a fighting game! Like he's trying to bait Sigma into attacking and go for 'sick counter hit damage' or something! 😄
I'm convinced my mans used Melee once, saw the hook as part of the melee animation, and just assumed that was what the hook move in his cooldowns was.
this is the funniest OW content ive seen in a long time
Blake is restraining himself by not using his hook and playing Rein with his feet, lest he overpower the entire lobby. He's too strong and simply wants to give everyone else a fair chance.
Im in plat and id take blake's rein any day of the week. At least he acknowledges the existance of the objective instead of the "press shift on cooldown" reins
2:25 flats speakin facts
3:22 I got this far into the video and have to agree, his aim looks clean aswell so far. honestly gold or something aim for a ana.
maybe it's the decision making that is keeping/putting this person in bronze but so far I think I wouldn't be surprised if he was playing in gold.
like I would even say put him in a gold game so far and he will do fine.
Flats is definitely on the money with his comment about mechanically skilled players who just don’t play that often, cause I’m the same way with OW. I maybe play once or twice every few months and I float between silver and bronze. If you watched me play you definitely see something similar to the support player who submitted the vod: solid aim, questionable decisions!
What's funny is I have friend who barely ever plays OW. And he loves Rein when we finally cajole him into a game. So when he sees a point he's EXACTLY like this guy and is like 'Aha! Point! I will defend this spot!' and no matter what is going on a million miles ahead he's happy defending his little plot of land. XD
blake13 is probably 13 years old
This gave me a good laugh after getting flamed as a healer for not healing a ball better. Thank you. Wish we had more bronze balls (wrecking balls) so I could laugh at stupid things hamsters do.
i actually had tears in my eyes watching this. haven't laughed that much in a while. i stan blake
The mercy superjumped as well
most mercy players have learned how to do this, even the shit ones, they might not know positioning, escape routes or even have their keybinds set up efficiently - but they sure as hell spent 20 hours in the training range with bots learning how to superjump.
@@retrorevival1 I’ve never seen a bronze mercy super jump lool it’s deffo a higher elo skill like gold at least
@@retrorevival1 that logic wouldn’t line up with flats theory that the guy doesn’t play often. If he played as often as he practises he would be higher ranked
You can accidentally super jump by gliding over when players especially hop and you hop.
@@natalieannex There are Mercy players in every rank who know how to super jump lmao!
I hate watching people that stare at the ground, it's like bro what are you looking at
He knows he has a hook he wasn't pushed to use it you got it Blake you'll make gm one day
So the hog that becomes perfectly balanced
So I’m friends with foxfire, she has been stuck in bronze since she had the game. Granted she also barely plays comp and plays more qp than anything.
Overall she impresses me every game I play with her. She’s able to play in high elo and manages to stay alive even in sticky situations (that’s just qp though)
(Also I believe the reason she’s so aggressive is because the group she plays with in qp is a super aggressive group)
This is what makes me think that elo hell is real. I don't understand how it's possible to rank up as a support out of bronze solo queue. Admittedly, I suck at the game. But something's wrong with the system if my losses are because the enemy dominated the entire game and my wins are because my team dominated the entire game. I dunno, it never seems like a fair fight to me.
@@goosevillenews7932 The OP said that Foxfire "barely plays comp", so if she did, she'd climb for sure if her Ana play is typically similar to this. Ana is a great play-maker.
I've heard the saying that 40% of your losses are a given, 40% of your wins are a given, and 20% are things where your influence truly impacts the outcome.
That said, if you're playing Mercy, you are going to have a bad time usually unless you know how/when to glock, and even then, it's just not as easy as on any other support. (This is true for all elos, but bronze is an elo where generally someone has to be a play-maker since teams aren't prepared/aware of what's going to happen)
I hope this made some sense
@@karamei this right here, she plays more qp than anything really the whole group of us do. If she did play came I’d bet she could get at least diamond maybe a little higher.
@@karamei I appreciate this, thank you!
@@goosevillenews7932 thanks!! I am a support main and mostly play mercy now. I got bronze when I first started. I don't know your hero pool, so I mostly have given mercy tips (since she is most rough to climb on especially solo), as you see in this video, fox knows mercy is more advantageous on defense (either that or was asked) due to how fight steamrolls can work after a single pick. Though generally damage boost brings more value than res - res is certainly useful for defense, especially since low elo is not a great counter to res (punishing or their time to kill, meaning res will be up for more deaths). Anyway for any other support, doing damage is absolutely essential. Careful with brig to not get too dangerously aggro though!
Do you remember day one - 2 month on Ana who you could sleep people again before they woke up?
Back in the day I only played Overwatch to find a liner in the enemy team and keep him slept on payload maps for 10-30 minutes depending on match time or until they left
16:46 Enable backward wallsliding ? Sure, why not ?
in low elo, people will REFUSE to leave the point and will let the enemy team just walk in for free because they believe that the second they leave the point is when they'll die and that leaving the point at ALL is "overextending"
Because they are scared and they suck
Like play Infront of the point that's how you really defend it.
No lie the tanks just stay on the point and it drives me crazy
100% remember avoiding Blake13 multiple times while I climbed out of bronze long ago.

Nah I refuse to believe that 90% of the people in bronze aren’t AI’s controlled by blizzard
Blake is a real chad, especially on rein, at least he dies less if he’s back rather than forward so I guess you can say that he doesn’t know what the spawn looks like because he doesn’t die a lot lol
