Excellent review and playing
Great to finally see you. Your vocals in At Vance were amazing
Oliver knows how to play!
Sounds great!!!
Great playing and tones!
I caught one time the delay dropped on the repeats @1:06 and a few other times…
The earlier version did it a TON which turned me off.
Did they fix that problem with this nearer version?
I’m not expecting a tape delay to be perfect obviously, but I don’t expect for the repeats to cut off and sound choppy.
I really hope that they fixed it
When it does that, it's more than likely the distance from the heads to the cassette tape, which can be adjusted by the user.
Which amp did you use for Ain't talkin bout love?
I used an Amp1 Mercury by Bluguitar for the whole demo. This tube pedal has already been in heavy use during the latest tours with Avantasia and Hartmann. I can only recommend it!
Is part 1 available?
You can find it on the T-Rex website
@@oliverhartmann thanks!
Wait you can run two delays at once with it?
Yes, you can use both tape heads / delays - long and short - separately or at the same time!
@@oliverhartmann i don’t suppose there is anything you can connect to the pedal to turn on/off the heads, so you can use them as two presets to choose from?
@@tubingforever no, there’s no extra input for an external remote control or switch
@@oliverhartmann damnit
As it is now, this unit is somewhat useless as a live performance device, as the user must knee down to access the Long/Short delay heads. T-Rex needs to convert the Tap Tempo foot switch to Long/Short head select and implement a 1/4" input for an external Tap Tempo foot switch.
