    Hi just want ask if the folding chair adaptor is suitable for a electric dual motor (motor in each rear wheel), folding wheel chair? Is the adaptor clamp on the the horizontal bar of the chair? As in the video is not showing how it’s attached. Thank you, looking forward for your reply.

    But how would you put it away on a folding chair? I know for rigid chairs there a little thing that goes on the bar across the seat, but whats avaialble for the chairs that dont have that bar? How are we meant to carry it around when not in use?

      I put mine between my legs. It weighs a small ton and I can't honestly see how it doesn't tip the chair.

    Guys, what you really need to come up with is either a redesign of, or a completely new idea for, the perch. It just doesn't work properly. I've never spoken to another freewheel user who thinks it does. They're not even sized properly for many people! I had to glue on a sawn off piece of a spare "shim" to make one perch post thick enough to hold the freewheel, but even then it doesn't stay on properly. Yes, it will theoretically "hold" the freewheel, but start moving around with it on the back and it will work its way off one way or another.
    Clearly the perch was an afterthought, but it's just poorly, poorly designed, and I think it's accurate to say that a lot of people would appreciate a different, and frankly better answer. Currently I'm having to stuff my freewheel behind my pushing bar when I'm not using it. Less than ideal I'm sure you'd agree. The freewheel itself is such a clever invention & so very well designed, but the perch lets things down really badly. Please, please come up with a better answer.

      Nope. "Thanks for the feedback" is company slang for "Go fuck yourself".
      I also have the freewheel and it doesn´t fit at all. Wasted almost 600€ for that piece of shit.

      I did a redesign of the perch by myself and manufactured it with a 3d-Printer. Now my GF can use the Freewheel properly.

      @@1337fraggzb00N Oh I love the freewheel...but agree, there is no way to put on a perch behind you. For 1) it doesn't stay...for 2) if you can't twist, you can't put it on...and 3) it'd tip the chair over if there were no wheelie bars...and if you were rough terraining, you'd not use wheelie bars.

    Why don’t you do a adapter for rigid folding chairs like a quickie xenon

    • @morgancalvi6675
      @morgancalvi6675 Рік тому

      A rigid chair isn't a folding chair. OMG, that folding wheelchair alone is almost 19 1/2 pounds...only including the frame...then the seat, back and arms and wheels have to add 10 to 15 pounds...the freewheel has to be 5 to 10 pounds...you must be pretty strong.

      @morgancalvi6675 Рік тому

      @@ilovebreana quickie xenon 2's frame is almost 20 pounds...whereas a lightweight rigid chair is half that or a fraction of that. A rigid chair has a welded bar across the back, whereas a folding chair has nuts and bolts and an 'x' design. Do a side by side comparison, they are NOT as sturdy. Are you trying to sell me on one...not going to happen.

    They need to make it of carbon fiber to make it not so heavy.

      @@ilovebrean that's very true....in fact carbon fibre on the frame of wheelchairs break at the ridgiizer frame. BUT there are parts that could be aluminum and parts that are Carbon fibre.
