I had this case for 2 weeks before I decided to upgrade it to a hyte Y70. It’s an ok starter case. The preinstalled fans that come with the case is subpar and it does not work well with the icue software. Even the RGB lights that comes with the fans don’t look too good in my opinion. He is correct with the PSU cable management. It’s best to get the side one cause it’s pretty tight fitting for the cables to come out the back of the power supply. Overall…2.5 stars outta 5 for me personally.
PERFECT video timing! i was looking for a 1440p build that was not SO expensive and you uploaded this at the perfect time! im looking to go for a 7800x3d and 4070 super for my build as it seems like they are an amazing combo for 1440p.
I really like that build. I actually see the argb functionality as a great feature because it requires less software to be installed. Also loving the aero card and that new aio from Corsair.
I've been working on an ICUE link build over the last month and I have loved the experience. The cost is a bit high and has resulted in me pairing my Ryzen 7 7800x3d with an RTX 3060 until i can afford a quality GPU unfortunately but overall Its been a blast to build.
My issue with Corsair cases is the lack of lights. They made the iCUE Link environment, but their cases don't have any integration? If they did, you would be able to connect fans through the case and have even less cable clutter. Right now, I don't see any reason to go for their cases over any other cases (Phanteks NV7, Hyte Y70, etc.).
@@GeekaWhat I think Corsair, which has always been about good aesthetics, is dropping the ball quite a lot recently by not having cases with lights, not having cases with connectors, and not having reverse blade fans for the overall "iCUE Link build". For example, the Phanteks NV7 has lights and connectors in the case as well as reverse fans for all those intakes needed in modern glass aquarium cases which means you could build an all "Phanteks build" very easily.
Wha! We don't need the extra vram?!? That just flies in the face of recent conventional knowledge. Everyone's freaking out over vram and while it's important, these cards are good apparently

RAM - teamgroup t force delta 2x16 for 32 gigs ddr5 cl30 latency 6,000mhz speed. SSD - 4 tb silicon power ud90 gen 4. CASE - phanteks xt pro ultra that comes with 4 fans. POWER SUPPLY - msi mag a850gl 850 watt gold rated. GPU - asrock taichi oc 7900xtx 24 gigs vram. CASE FANS - 2 of the 3 pack phanteks m25 fans. 1 pack to change the fans on the 360 aio to match the case fans and the other pack to put at the bottom of the case to bring more air up to the gpu. The prices will be from pc part picker with different gpu's. The total with the 7900xtx is 2,070 dollars, the total with the asrock phantom gaming 7900xt 20 gig vram is 1,790 dollars, the total with the msi gaming x trio 4070 ti super 16 gig vram is 1,940 dollars, the total with the gigabyte eagle oc ice 4070 super 12 gig vram is 1,760 dollars or you can go with the gigabyte aero oc 4070 super 12 gig vram 1,800 dollars. All of these prices are before taxes, shipping and maybe deals or sales from amazon. You can also use affirm or another payment service on Amazon to pay off the pc monthly. There are no 7900gre prices on pc part picker but you can go to Amazon and find the white model with these parts and see how much the total will be after taxes and shipping.

@evancash6888 so the parts list for the build you want with the cheapest best parts with different fans is 1,800 to 1,900 dollars so you would have to pick a different case and get a 4070 super or 4070 ti gpu to fit in your budget of 1,500 to 1,600.
