Hey guys! Thanks for tuning into another video. Corsair recently asked if I wanted to take a look at a pre-build machine they make and I said yes. It's been a long time since I have looked at a prebuild and will this one change my mind on prebuilds? We shall see.... There is also one more CON I forgot to mention in the video: This PC only comes with a 1TB drive, this is entirely too low for a gaming PC in 2024. I think a minimum of 2TB should have been included, especially considering there is only 2 M.2 slots on the motherboard. Overall, this PC actually exceeded my expectations, ESPECIALLY when it comes to cable management. The big question is: Is it worth the price they're asking vs. just build your own for cheaper? Thanks for watching, Danny
I built my own pc recently but I really want this for the 4070, by the way why can't I comment. I was a newbie so I am regretting some of the things I did like buying a printer (100$) and buying ups(around 95 usd). I should have used it for a better gpu than my 3060 twin edge. Was tight on budget and a newbie.
Some people don't wanna or know how to build a PC..Thats me..I have two prebuilts that are GREAT..I have an hp omen 45L and a Lenovo legion 5 tower with a 4070super and I am perfectly satisfied with everything about them! In fact Dan Cam was instrumental in my purchase of the 45L...it is a lovely beast...
Awesome video as always! I'm a "build it yourself" kinda guy, but it's nice to see that a huge company as Corsair is taking the pre-build market seriously for those that don't want to/don't know how to build your PC from scratch! It's an awesome machine!! Keep up the good work, man! Cheers from Brazil!
Thinking about building my first PC and this channel has been pretty awesome, I’ve only really seen the shorts but it has me excited to get all my parts this Black Friday cycle. A well deserved subscribe
It also great for disability/disabled people like me. I am still trying avoid pre-built tho. Just gotta find somebody to put it together if I buy my own parts.
No way this is the case that I’m gonna use for my first pc build, so glad they built a pc in it for you to review so I can get a better look at the case! Thank you!
Thanks for reviewing this. Have always been curious with Corsair’s prebuilts. Really does look like a custom built. One thing I don’t like is the wifi antenna. I prefer the slim rabbit ears Haven’t heard the dankamyouknooooooooooooooooooow lately
I don't need it, but I want it! (Omen 30L here) Pre-builts are a great alternative for a lot of us. I could probably build a pc, but would not be able to troubleshoot the build.
Hi Dan! I love your videos and have been watching for a while, but I wanted to ask you what is the setup you use, as in keyboard, mouse, headphones, and what mats you use, I am looking forward to the best possible gaming experience, both in feel and efficiency, thanks!
I used to always build my own PCs, my first was a windows 95 machine, and the last one was a windows 7. My current windows 10 machine is a prebuilt, because I was very busy at the time. It's getting pretty old now, and I'm actually leaning prebuilt again. PC parts have gotten stupid expensive here. Just the GPU in this build is the equivalent of $920 as opposed to the US price (5 seconds of googling tells me around $600). So the added cost of getting the machine built for you is comparatively much smaller. And especially since I'm out of practice now, it feels difficult to justify the time investment of building myself, since my free time is still rather limited.
The Bob Ross of PC hardware 👌😀 (Man, it’s not because they’re boring, but damn I can fall asleep listening to your voice 😂 So happy I found this channel!)
I normally play on a very low sens. I also play on a much larger mouse mat than the makeshift setup I had in the video. Lots of pro players play with low sens 😎
Hey Dan I’ve been watching you videos for a while usually on reels I just subscribed too you I love seeing ur work. I’ve been wanting a gaming pc since I was a kid but could never afford one and don’t really know much about building or component compatibility. I was wondering if you would possibly consider building me one:) I have a pretty tight budget of like $1000 I could make work what would you recommend me to do
Hey I don’t know if you would know this but if I were to order an origin (Corsair) prebuilt with a 4070 it super, would it be a dual fan or triple fan gpu. I have been concerned about this as aesthetics are important to me! Thank you 😁
I wish builders would stop wasting time with AIO's on these Ryzens, the processors are so efficient & well made that a proper air tower cooler can be used reliably without any down side.
Dudee, do u think that u can help me on something? i was thinking building up my first gaming pc, is it better an intel i7-12700F or a Ryzen 7 8700F. I was thinking a nvidia gpu, the RTX 3060 12gb vram, with 32 gb of ram. what do u think?
Thanks for the donation!I would personally do something like the 7600x CPU instead of the 8700F. And 4060’s are pretty much the same price as 3060’s. You could always go AMD for the GPU with something like the 7600XT. Not sure what pricing is like in your country though.
@@DanKamYouKnow yeah, i was thinking abt a 4060, but i saw a lot of reviews saying that its not worth it. But i watched some videos about the performance and its not that bad, thanks for answering!!! love ur videos man, keep up the good work
I like watching PC reviews but I have some criticism about this prebuilt for the price it is selling. One the PC only comes with a 1tb NVME for $2300 it should come with at least A 2tb NMVE. Second the DDR5 is only 5200 and you have to pay extra to get 5600. Again for the asking price 5600 DDR5 should come with the PC. This next thing is just personal preference but that AIO looks so small and awkward in that built a 280mm or 360mm if possible would make this build more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion.
Can someone help me? I bought a pc yesterday and BO6 won’t launch on steam. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled, validated the files… still doesn’t work
Bro... I don't need 3000hp for a casual road trip. I just want a sweet 300hp in case I have to get around a semi. (I just want $1000 pc that'll run Triple As without burning out.)
Wish corsair would sort out there iCue software... Ive had to drop back to like rev 4.50 from rev 5.6 or whatever because when its running normally on rev 5.6 my 14600KF is using like 10% just for that and my clock speed is at 5.30ghz just for that, i close it down and then it drops back to like 1ghz or less and uses nothing at all... So i dropped it back to rev 4.5 or whatever and the problem is solved... Now i know it aint a big deal, but when my pc is just sat idling or im sat watching youtube its usually at like lowest clock 1ghz or less...but with the newest icue its at 5.3ghz on 1 core or maybe 2... i just hate the fact its turboing for no reason, and i can use the old version for my Asus ROG board and my Corsair Ram and Corsair mouse... Yeah i could use other Ram but ive never had a problem with corsair for over a decade so didnt feel the need to change... Its just this version of icue chews up 10 to 15% cpu for no reason, i know theres a few of you out there with the same problem...
I buy power has a similar system with faster ram for 2300. Corsair is psychotic. Looked up and they lowered the price 200. Still would take the iBuyPower first. Corsair makes some great products. But not enough for a full eco system buy in.
Obviously building one yourself if you are capable is the better choice but that aside, in terms of prebuilts, the value is just not there on this one. Very basic mobo that’s barebones and doesn’t even have 4 dimm slots, ram speed is suboptimal, the fans not being reverse blade for the side intake and no cable extensions makes them behind the curve compared to other prebuilts. At $2500, there are much better options from a prebuilt company.
I would give anything just for an upgrade to my current GPU that is an old RX 570 8GB, but GPUS are crazy in prices nowadays, already upgraded all my fans to Corsair AR120"s RBG, CPU to Ryzen 5 5600x, a CPU Cooler Master Halo RGB and 32 GB DDR4 RAM from T Force Vulcan Z running at 3200 Mhz. Missing a good SSD and GPU upgrades still, HUGE FAN @DanKamYouKnow!!!

1TB is perfectly enough for, like, 3 AAA titles, I'm pretty sure.

Personally, i'm not a fan of prebuilts but they can be great for people who just need a pc and want to forgo the effort of building one themselves.
Exactly this. Building your own will always be the best value to performance route, but prebuilds still make a lot of sense for a lot of people.
But I’m so scared to put one together myself.

Too busy with life (family, mortgage, kids) to build my own PC anymore. Pretty happy with my Corsair i8200 pre-built! Thanks for the great video.
