You can scrub if you want to but nothing and I do mean nothing works better than a razor blade. It doesn’t scratch it lifts up all the burnt on crud and make sure cooktop look like brand new. I find one blade last me for years.
What about barkeepers friend? Would that be too abrasive? I find a spritz of vinegar water helps too. Or rubbing alcohol / water is supposed to be less corrosive over time. I can’t recall which channel posted that.
I did look on the barkeepers friend website and you can use it on your glass top stove. They have a stovetop cleaning kit. I'd try vinegar and baking soda 1st, like I mentioned in the video.
