- Spending all day on a ride in stock seats can leave you tires and sore at the end of the day. In most cases, stock seats are also not bolstered enough to keep you stable in your seat throughout your ride. That is why one of the mods we highly recommend is custom seats. In this video, we install the Aces Racing Daytona seats and give you our thoughts.

Nice how to video, those seats look pretty good. And they are very affordable. The last PRP GT3 seats I purchased for my KRX was something like $1650. That was crazy not going with PRP again. I just purchased a RZR XP Pro 2 seat and a Can-Am Maverick X3 2 seat for my grandson. The seats in those are actually pretty good, the Can Am being a little bit better. I'm definitely not going to do the PRP thing anymore. If I replace the seats in those two side by sides I will probably go with this seat. Thanks.
It would probably be a lot easier if you took the seat and sliders out together, assemble the tracks then install the seat as a complete assembly. The front and rear floor bolts are easy to install. Them adjust to fit....
Great video. I have them in a 4 seat General xp and love them. Have about 400 mile seat time. Definitely holds me in place. Great quality as well. Just a tip, I ordered 2 at first and liked them and then ordered the rear 2 and got a discount for repeat business.
I bought a set of them from you guys (Garrett) a few months ago for my KRX, and the install was a pain. I love how comfortable they are though. Definitely a good seat, just make sure you don't have to take them out very often. lol.
That’s the problem with all custom seats on the KRX, they don’t have a quick disconnect setup. My HSP ones are a pain as well. -Garrett
I hope you plan on installing harnesses for your utv
Great info! Thanks!
Very nice seats, seems like easy install. Nice to see decent instructions that come with a product these days.
No intro video for the new rig Joe? Whats up with that 🤷🏻♂️ 🤪
😂 to be straight, it’s filmed and I planned to release it first but I forgot I had filmed it until I was nearly finished with this one… it’ll be my next one. 😜
@@DerangedOffRoad 😂😂. Fair enough!
Now that youve had some time with those seats, how do you like them?
They have been great for all three of us. For the price, you just can’t beat them.
Were you able to gain extra distance from the driver to the steering wheel and pedals by making this change or is it still the same as the OEM standoff distance?
Yes. Not sure one the exact number but they definitely sit further back. -Joe
How are these seats holding out for you? It’s been a while since UTV takeover. Thinking about them for my KRX. Your rig looks good in Red.
So far so good, still working great.
That didn't look like Sand Hollow. LOL! So what are your thoughts after using them at UTV takeover?
They are better than the stock seats, but not quite as comfy as PRP or some of the other premium seat makers. I think they’re a good buy for the money.
-Dave
These are the ACES Daytona seats, right? Not the Apex. Do you know what the difference is between the two?
Yea that’s correct. Mainly different profile and the Daytonas have a removable bottom cushion. -Garrett
Im having trouble with the crappy slider and spring mechanism not staying in the teeth groove and during my first ride the seat is sliding forward and backward what should i do to try and fix that is there a better seat track setup then the kawaski stock crap
I'm thinking it would have been easier to pull the sliders out and mount them on the seat, then mount the seats in the KRX.
I tried that, it's really not. I have had mine in and out several times. There really is no easy way to get them in.
@@getyourrocksoffroad7478 Huh, that's how I take my seats out and put them back is by pulling the four bolts and removing them sliders and all. Actually fairly easy.
I tried that with the first seat but could get my hands where they needed to be to put them back on. Left that out of the video though. 😜 -Joe
I’m a bigger guy 6’2 250, my question is how wide are they? About the same as OEM? Or smaller?
They will feel smaller from the side support but should work fine for you. I am around the same size as well and have no issues with them.
My seats will be here Saturday just curious though I have my power turn on and off for my aux beam switch panel is mounted in my battery box area are you still able to get to that area without unbolting the seats?
No it won’t be easy. I would move it up in my opinion.
@@DerangedOffRoad that’s more than likely what I’m gonna don
So, any updates on the seats? Are they worth it?
So far so good, they are pretty comfortable and compare to my HSP. For the price I believe these seats are a great option.
@@DerangedOffRoad thanks.
Do these happen to sit close to factory height of the stock seats? I’ve got the click-6 harnesses in my 2seater. I see these are compatible. I’m just wondering about height where I have a VooDoo cage and I’m 6’3
Yea they will work fine, they sit a little lower then my HSP ones I have in my KRX with a VooDoo cage. -Garrett
Any reason these wouldn't work with the Warp 9 seat tilters?
I don’t see why not
They do work with Warp 9 seat mounts, I have them on my Ace's Daytona seats in my 2 seat KRX.
Do you know if these seats will work with Polaris click 6 harnesses? The 'on center' distance of the straps 10.5". Thanks
Yes they should work just fine with the Polaris harnesses.
