Got mine a couple of weeks ago, just haven't gotten around to installing them yet. Just the added ease of removing the seats make them worth buying.
I got lightning-fast shipping on these things (thanks, Garrett), and got one installed. I have not yet taken it for a ride. One thing to mention is that the slider seems to work a bit better with the stiff squareness (?) added into the setup. Overall, looks like it raised the seat about 1/2” compared to the driver one that doesn’t yet have it. I have an aftermarket cage and stock seats with the Click 6. Even the stock seats contact the roof on the aftermarket cage, but I don’t see it being an issue. Just slide the seat all the way forward before tilting and you still get lots of access room. I also really like the quick-detach setup to pull the seats. I don’t know yet whether the hardware will be noisy.
It does seem like super atv used more steel in the plate than they really needed to, seems a bit heavier than really necessary.
Overall I’m pleased, but again-I haven’t actually used it yet.
Thanks for the feedback! Keep us updated. -Garrett
Need some quick release pins with the button release.
I think the T handle type would work really well. No cotter pins to worry about losing and no angled pin that will rattle around making more noise.
One of the things I dislike about my custom seats (PRP) is that being one piece, they're a far bigger PITA to take in and out. I was trying to figure out if these will work with the 5th point bracket that PRP uses that is bolted down by the front two bolts. Nice video, Garrett. Also, you still owe me a phone call lol. -Steve
I know I do. 😄 -Garrett
Does this make the seat sit higher in the machine?
Not enough to notice a difference. -Garrett
If you ever decide to go custom seats, they sit higher. Prp seats allow you to flip the mounting brackets upside down which gives you another inch. The fiancee is pretty pleased with the extra inch... Just sayin'.
