Another great Anker product!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks for the info Andrew.
No problem. Thanks for the watch
Great review! After watching your video, I’m really considering buy this unit.
Glad I could help
Thanks for the review.
No problem. 👍
Thanks for the review! Big bummer on the Bluetooth only and lack of solar priority. Hopefully they fix that in the next version. Anker stuff is high quality!
No problem. Anker is really top notch and the app is near perfect. 2024 is going to be an exciting year and I'm looking forward to all the innovations. Do you have a power station currently or one your eyeing?
Best review! Thank you
Thank you
Oh boy!! A new toy to work with!!
So many options to choose from.
Anker makes a smaller power station and it's 699 right now. I hear this one's pretty good too. Thanks for the review.
Yes it is. Thanks
I thought this would be not enough for my energy needs but now that I’ve bought the f3800, and I watch this, I could’ve just gotten this. I’m living out of a converted car so I have an unnecessary amount of power now 😢
Guess it’ll be cool to have for when I start my tiny home
I'd rather have more than just enough power.
Great review! Question for you though, Im thinking of a specific use case.
If you leave it plugged in to your transfer switch permanently, running one circuit. Is it possible to have both AC charging and solar running at once? And can you leave it like that running without intervention?
Im thinking even if you buy this for emergencies, it would be nice to have it plugged in and providing a few hundred watts of free power without needing any sort of permanent solution.
Yes this is possible
Great review. I was interested in the power house. I just wish it expanded more than 4kwh.
Thanks for the support.
yes, its a NEMA TT-30 RV plug
I just got the shipping notice on my F3800. You'll have fun when you review one of those!
Oh snap that's the big boy toys! What's the plans with it?
F3800 looks like a beast
@@OffGridSolarSmartHouse I wanted a turnkey battery that could do 240 to cover my well pump in power outages. Daily use I'll see if I can get solar going (bought 2 x 200W panels with it) and use it as a UPS for some important stuff.
The 240 sounds great. It comes with two solar inputs so you could have one solar array with the 2 panels you bought and if you need more You could try and get some used rigid panels and add it to the other solar input. I like how they kept the same handle and wheels. Let me know how you like it.
Having wheels on a power station is so convenient!
It really is. Easy on my back for sure.
Good point!!
Have you done any tests on whether it works as oops? that does not make cuts in the current transfer when it leaves?
I don't believe this one has a UPS.
Ive never seen a solar unit this portable 🤯
Something new every year.
Gotta have wheels mate yah just gotta have em😅
Makes life easier totting this thing around.
Is there any maintenance we need when we're not using it throughout the year? Do we need to charge it every 2 months or anything to maximize battery life?
Id recharge it every so often maybe four times a year. That should be it
Do they change power sockets depending on what country there selling too?
I believe so but not 100% sure.
Why your cables outside your window that connects to your solar generator look splice? The one with Anker that came with it’s solid and I see it ain’t that long like yours?????
The cables outside my window are long extension mc4. The cables aren't spliced I have panels on the roof different cable and panels on the ground another cable.
I’m nervous of anybody who changes the name of the company or tries to call something by a new name. These solar generators are really just a box that contains a regular solar system (battery charge controller, inverter, and panels.) does systems have a recharge estimate at 300 to 500 times. This is saying used daily battery expectancy is two years?
I have a few other power stations I've been using going on two and a half years straight everyday with no degrading on the battery.
Is that a 30 amp inlet box? And what kind of cord is that?
but can it Run my AC, im in FL... thats a Requirement, lol
If it's a portable one, yes. Probably not for long.
Yep, for about three minutes! 🤣🤣🤣
How long does it last
It just depends on what you're powering. It has a 2kwh battery. What would you use it for maybe I can help calculate.
@@OffGridSolarSmartHouse just like 7 light points, 2fridge,tv and to charge gadgets
And can i connect it directly to solar and use
So it can be charging as i use
@@akinlosotutemitayo211 maybe around 4 hours without solar. With solar 12 hours.
Ok thank you
4 hours ? Holy crap my jackery last an entire weekend
