US Warship Intercept China's Ship in South China Sea
The United States Navy has had several encounters with Chinese warships in the South China Sea, involving close interactions and maneuvers that have raised tensions between the two countries.
In one incident, the USS Decatur, a guided-missile destroyer, was approached by a Chinese warship in an unsafe and unprofessional manner, with the Chinese ship conducting aggressive maneuvers and coming within 45 yards of the USS Decatur.
