- Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia, better known as The Prince of Venice, is a man of many titles: heir to the Italian monarchy, “Dancing With The Stars” champion, reality TV host, grandson of the last king of Italy, and most recently, food truck proprietor. Based in Los Angeles, Prince of Venice serves authentic, fresh, restaurant quality pasta dishes out of his food truck.
Emanuele started Prince of Venice after realizing Los Angeles, with its abundance of food trucks, didn’t have one offering fresh pasta. Serving made-to-order pasta dishes tossed in pesto, bucatini, amatriciana, bolognese, cacio e pepe, and pomodoro, the Prince's dishes are influenced by the pasta dishes of Rome, Milian, Naples, Sicily, and of course, Venice.

He is not. There is no King of Italy or Prince of Venice anymore. That guy would be heir to the throne and actually sued the Italian People for 260 million euro claiming the exil was "injustice". Italys response was to threaten him to sue for reperations for the victims of fascism since the royal family was supporting Italian fascism like crazy. PS: It wasnt just a law precenting himbfrom entering italy - it was the constitution and in my opinion they shouldn't habe changed it.

Guys, I’m from Italy and believe me, this is a delicacy that is not as common as you’d think... people don’t go around making fresh pasta everyday, and they sure don’t know how to make it THAT good... most Italian recipes are made of just a few ingredients, and making them taste good is something that you can easily learn, but making them taste and look amazing is something else... I would LOVE to have a good truck that sells fresh pasta near my home, it’s like your grandma is cooking lunch for you everyday... GAAAAAADDDAAAAAAAAMN
plus...what other situation can you complain to your crown prince that the pasta is not to your liking XDDDD
I studied in Italy for a year and I came back to L.A and the food is something I could not get over. And now this prince has brought me this small treasure.

@@Moscarmando i clown tutti in Italia stanno
@@benitotesexiest4653 almeno sta in America questo
Ciao tutti, As an Italian I can weigh in on this. The reason his family, the house of savoy, is exiled from Italy (why he is in America) has to do with fascism. After WW2, victor emmanuele was the king of Italy. He enabled Mussolini’s rise to power and appointed him and was made emperor of Italy’s conquered territories. As a result, after the war and the rightful death of Mussolini, he was subsequently exiled just 30 something days after passing the monarchy to his son Umberto. A republic of Italy was established and all descendants of the monarchy are exiled. So this guy is directly related to Umberto and as a result was exiled, as all males of the savoy line were. I believe the exile has been lifted but I suppose he chooses to live in America. So yeah, the reason this guy has a food truck is a direct result of the Italian monarchy’s complacencies in fascism.
Basically what I’m saying is that his family is responsible for fascism and when the tide turned on the royals they fled without remorse, and now the other relatives live lives of indulgence without having worked for anything really. At least this guy is productive with his life... well, except for the time that he advocated for reestablishing the Italian monarchy through (ironically) electoralism
Luca Piomelli exiled yet lives in luxury. Try to make sense of that. No hate though
@@Gaiwen_Li How can you NOT wrap your head around that? Yes, his family was exiled but they lived extremely comfortable lives and had the money and resources to pursue ventures of their interest.
They looted the Italian treasury and left us highly indebted as well! They should subsequently be publicly hung for treason in Piazza San Pietro, they deserve nothing less!!!
@@Gaiwen_Li ....how does that not make sense? he and his family stole italy's money and they threw him out but at the time, you didnt have access to people's bank accounts. they coniscated their mansions and everything they could get their hands on IN ITALY but his family stole the money and put it in international bank accounts. he's a piece of shit and so is his family so its interesting seeing people do the "ohhh, WOW he's a PRINCE!" on here. not much of a "prince" if your own people spit in your face and take away your mansions and tell you to go fuck yourself.

gavriel amati lots of Caucasian American are grand son of slave owners so are we going to lay it down on them also 🤔 he seem ok and right down to earth in a right space of mind. Nothing g like his peers
You don't even know how it is being italian
This man just wow.... wow! The whole thing about his story♥️ this is literally one true prince indeed
Man I love their visual style too, nice colour on the truck, classy plain food packaging. Really nice
I watched the entire video waiting for him to bust out his LA accent and be like haha fooled ya
What an incredible story !!!!!!
When he first spoke about being the King of Italy , I thought he was just joking 😂🤣
Cheers to this man 🎉
I’m Italian and we salute you Emanuele , they treated you in a harsh way … but you are really kind and polite… we wish you the best .
Ok, I'm italian and just a few days ago I was wandering about Emanuele Filiberto, and now I watch this video...
And this is the weirdest thing ever, but somehow I love it. Great job Emanuele! You really love Italy
When he meant he is the prince he is the prince 🤣
I just love his down to earth demeanor . I also wish that food truck was over here on the east coast.
After Dancing with the Stars and Sanremo Music Festival now he's a chef on a van in the USA. I can't with this man 😂🤭🤦♂️
one of the best icons of munchies...period
Man is an actual prince. Took a second to get that. Ep
Edit: side note this would make a interesting anime
He’s not an actual prince, he’s the offspring of ex monarchs. He wasn’t even alive when Italy last had a monarchy
@@FirstLast-pk2of you must be fun at parties
@@FirstLast-pk2of Also, he is a Prince. In the sense that he's the son of a King.
Ryos Prime Also, he’s not a prince in the sense that he is not the son of a King. His grandfather was the last king of Italy, his father was like 10 when the family was exiled. So this guy was born to a man that was never King and who would have lost their claim to the throne due to marrying a commoner. The heir to the throne would have been passed to the Savoia-Aosta branch of the family. I’m sure you’d be fun at parties too if you ever got invited to any 😆
@@FirstLast-pk2of Son of a would be king is still a prince! You sound awfully invested in this for someone who hasnt even bothered with a profile picture, someone piss in your cheerios this morning??
not gonna lie, this dude was a looker back in the day, resembles Liam Hemsworth
since i was a child, i was attracted by his kindness and his humour. He shows himself as a really simple person and i think he is totally sincere
"As high as you're sitting, you are always sitting on your ass" I might get that tattooed haha
