A true smoke show
Most of the units we worked with would really put on a show when left idling for hours and then put under load.
Awesome Train Footage
Awesome videos! Thanks! Brings me back to the good old days-!
Good old days for sure cpe.
Great smoking locos.
More please
Love watching that older power working hard. Enjoyed the video and have a nice rest of your weekend.(Steve)
Smoke ‘‘em if ya got ‘em, Dr J. Nice video..
Myself, I kind of enjoy hearing the sounds of the hard working B&LE non turbo-charged EMD SD-38's as they roar by. I did save one such 3 minute video of them moving a coal train, four of them, two on the head end, with two others pushing.
B&LE non-turbo stuff is hard to beat,. I prefer anything pre-SD40-3. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
Alco smoke naturally. NS and CSX could be blown turbo.
GE engines tend to have the same turbo lag as an ALCO.
The EMDs could also smoke like that from an injector issue- either injectors or a pump issue.
If anyone knows of any other similar videos, please share the link. Thank you.
Millions of mosquitoes were harmed in the making of these videos. 😂😂
