It's really good but it was really sugary, so for those who don't have a sweet tooth, probably add a bit less sugar, but my siblings loved it! Mashallah
Hello, normal sugar is what was used. Anytime a baking recipe calls for sugar it is referring to normal white granulated sugar. It will specify something else like powdered sugar or brown sugar, etc. And yes you can use regular flour. They just won't turn out as soft but they will still be good.
I am eternally greatful for this, for making it short and not like 8 minutes for 12 cupcakes, and I’m sure they will taste amazing, it’s 3 am so I have to mix by hand 😢😂

You can use all-purpose flour but not rice flour.

I always use unsalted butter when baking. You can use salted butter, if you do, just reduce the amount of added salt in half.

I wouldn't advise it, pancake mixes have the wrong measurements in them. But you could always try it. They just won't turn out the same.

If you have a cake mix just follow what it says on the back of the cake mix box. It will be a little different than making it from scratch.
