@@lesdarkphoenix3780 I believe he meant hard drive as in a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) as opposed to a Solid State Drive (SSD). The thing is, many people still use HDDs these days, just mostly for bulk storage with their main system drive being an SSD for the better performance and load times.
Doing the calculations for the kilotons of TNT used, one TNT block is One meter cubed of TNT, which is essentially 1,650 kilograms of TNT, since there's 1.3 million blocks, we just do 1,650 x 1,300,000 which comes to 2145000000 kilograms of TNT, since nuclear weapons are typically measured in kilotons of TNT, this becomes 2145 kilotons, which becomes 2.145 megatons, just shy of the 57 megatons used in the Tsar Bomba (world's most powerful nuclear weapon), anywho, if we were to make a Minecraft bomb larger than the Tsar Bomba, Wunba would need 57 million subscribers, SO LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN PEOPLE!
So I am really good at mathematics and I made sure you were correct, good job, you were, This TNT block is 37.6x more powerful than the Tsar Bomba.

Because you're stating it's 37.6 times more powerful than the Tsar Bomba, this This Masive TNT block is only 2145 kilotons (2.145 megatons), however the Tsar bomba is 50 megatons, implying that the tnt block would require 47855 additional kilotons (47.855 megatons). So statistically speaking, you are wrong. Also, the head comment never mentioned that the Tnt was (37.6x more powerful). Also, those statistics are mathematically inaccurate. The Tsar Bomba was intended to be 100 megatons but was deemed too unsafe for testing owing to the fallout, which means if the TNT block 2145 Kilotons was multiplyed by 37.6 it would equal 80652 kilotons meaning that if the Tsar Bomba theoritically was never cut in half it would still be stronger by 19 megatons. So to sum it up you sir shouldn't be correcting people as your math is mathematically wrong all of it.

Just remember that everything is possible in Minecraft, and yeah "open to lan" can be used to turn cheats ON in hardcore

Tnt calculations have been modified a few years ago, now the game only process them by batches and not all of them simultaneously. Anyone with a ton of ram can do the same and more, I was hoping for a method to go around this but nope…

I'm going into this knowing how unsatifiying big TNT explosions tend to be any time you got TNT high enough that it literally can't even land on unexploded terrain before it goes off, and I'm just just increasingly aware that the sheer volume of work needed to actually make a TNT stack this big built in survival mode is gonna be infinitely more impressive than the actual explosion.

If the data is really important and you have to worry about targeted attacks, also make sure that the backup drive is either unplugged when not backing up files, or write-once, so that malware can't encrypt/delete your backups.

2 megatons of tnt for those who don't know the strongest nuke ever dropped (that we know of) was the Tsar bomb which is 50 megatons of tnt this Minecraft bomb is worth 1/25 of the strongest bomb (that we know of) made

This is why I trust my most important files on a good old spinny hard drive. They will at least usually give some warning before failing. I have never had one fail but I have had SSD's fail.

19:12 You were so lucky that first time the hard drive broke. Most of the time it is either impossible or increadibly expensive to recover lost data from corrupted drives.
ALWAYS make backups! Even when the motherboard doesn't kill it, an SSD can only be written to and read from a limited number of times. Eventually (usually after many years but still) it WILL break.

That actually is not true. They can only be written by a limited number of times, but they should remain readable for literally infinitely. The PC guy was on a completely wrong path, the error message was nothing to do with the SSD.
@@IstvanUjjMeszaros That error message wasn't on the computer he was using. You can see it is a picture from a different computer. It would have been pretty simple to plug the ssd into another pc and see if it was bad or not.

I loved every minute of the video. It would have been epic if we had gotten to see the explosion more in depth, as well as more of the aftermath. It all being fitted into a one minute section at the end felt so bittersweet.
