He can spend all day everyday doing this and it only takes about a week to pull off this build, its the farms and afking that take so much time but you can just afk while you sleep then come back to basically everything you need

I think that water running off the sides works REALLY well, because it adds the feeling of some dynamism, as if the Giant Golem had raised the temple out of the ocean dephts just moments before!

If you want to craft things way quicker, you're holding down q to craft the iron blocks and drop them, but if you control q, it'll drop the entire stack instantly.

One time I literally built the entire Shulker farm and brought the first Shulker. I was wearing armour with thorns and it shot me and died. Even worse I killed the rest of the Shulkers in the End City after capturing one.

kolanii's beacon but crazier:
One way to make the beacon's colour gradient would be using colored gass with lights behind, then use a checkerboard paters for the in between shades
EX: THe in between of diamond and cyan glass would be a checkerboard of diamond and cyan, and the inbetween for cyan glass and white would be a checkerboard of withe and cyan.

I randomly subbed about a year ago, and you have grown so much since then. Keep up the good work!
For the beacon on top you could actually do this
Quarts Stairs with Sea Lanterns behind.
Because stairs aren't full blocks and light goes through them you can get a sort of Gradient while making sure it stays bright.
You can repeat this for any other blocks in the beacon eith different colored blocks that aren't full blocks but have a side that covers an entire block.
Although a month later means you might not see this...
Hey Mud, for the next beacons, I HIGHLY recommend that you use cubicmeter's infinibore design, for the overworld for diamonds and nether for netherite, especially now that he's made it survival friendly with his new designs. It'll still take hundreds of hours of grind but not thousands with a regular piston bore
That will still take probable 500 hours at least

If he would fill the entier Blocks with Iron, it would take about 48.365.568 iron bars. With a farm of 125k iron per houer, it would take around 323 hours and 27990 shulker boxes full of iron. The boxes would take around 238 hours to get with a farm of 236 shells per houer (you need 2 shells per box ). It would also take you 55980 logs to craft the chests. With a log farm of 20k, it would take 3 hours. Building time would be, with 15 blocks per second, about 100 hours. Total time is 664 hours (no breaks, no farm building time, no iron block crafting). It would weigh about 41,916,825 tons (7 times the wheig of the cheops pyramid)

@22:52 You should always build the corners when blocking yourself up in hardcore. I’ve died while afk blocked up exactly how you were here (thankfully not in hardcore) and I know a few others that have as well. I believe I heard something about this being fixed in a recent update or snapshot so it might not matter soon but personally I will still always fully block myself up corners included (3x3x4) when afk’ing just to be safe.
I def think you can add vines or leaves going up and down the walls for aesthetics to symbolize how old the temple is if you’re going for that aesthetic

Did you know that the top two pixels of the iron golems eye is actually his eyelid, and the red pixel is the sclera (the non pupil part) and the bottom left/right black pixel is the pupil. The reason I know this is because on an official minecraft account on twitter (or smth), they posted an animation of the bottom black pixel moving as he looks around. You most likely won't see this, but hopefully someone will.
This was and is absolutely unhinged and I loved every minute of it.
