I collected every block in the new Minecraft 1.20 update!
@Mogswamp and I challenged ourselves to stay up for 24 hours straight and try to collect all 907 blocks in the new 1.20 Minecraft update. This got pretty crazy! I ended up excluding most of Mogswamp’s POV from this video because he will be making his own video on it soon! Make sure to check out his channel video!

For those of you curious about the state of the blackhole video, it is coming next but still has a little while longer to be finished. It's quite a complicated storyline and edit, much more than a normal video due to extra graphics, IRL scene, renders, etc... I wanted to post this one to have some extra time to perfect that one. I also took this time to hire an editor, and he's really really good at his job so hopefully future videos can be produced quicker! Plus there was just a ton of family/IRL stuff going that requires me spending less time on UA-cam than normal. But I assure you, when it does come, it'll be more insane than ever and much worth the wait!

This run had some of the heighest highs, lowest lows, and most chaotic moments of any Minecraft challenge I've ever seen.

12:31 Chorus Plant IS obtainable. You just need an endstone, and the Chorus Flower. Shoot the Chorus Flower with an arrow (or mine it) and place it on the endstone. Also do this to check Chorus Plant off the list as well.

I'm pretty sure it was for the fully grown chorus flower, which is different from the flowering block that can be placed. You can't really get the non-flowering plant without the full tree or maybe getting lucky with the tree dying right away.
I love that unlike most block collection videos, you went out of your way to collect all different versions of said block, and even some that may not be considered “actual blocks”. So well done, and honestly, I would love to see the full play through no cuts.

Just so you know, there are several pieces of suspicious sand in each desert temple! There's a little "room" that you can dig out, and it usually has about 5 pieces of suspicious sand in it!
Maybe that’s why was was searching the suspicious sand in the desert temple?🤔
you can also pick it up by placing 2 cobwebs underneath it then letting it fall. it needs to be suspended in the cobwebs for about 30 seconds then it will drop.

You can actually get suspicious sand using a glitch. You put a cobweb beneath a block it's on and then break it and it will take 30 seconds and then it will drop.

The chest boat is super underrated. It's very useful early-game. It's transportable storage, really good if you don't have shulker boxes or ender chests. Also, because of its hitbox, you can fill up 9 hoppers at the same time, making super fast item storage.

its so useful exploring oceans in early game!
Facts let's show some love for the chestboat
I don't find it much more useful than a normal chest, since you can't pick up the boat without the items spilling everywhere anyways, so if you need to travel over land the boat chest becomes a hindrance.

So many “unobtainable” blocks that were just simple obtainable things, frog spawn goes in a bucket I believe, chorus plant and flower you just have to mine the flower at the top of the chorus plant, suspicious sand and gravel are obtainable through cobwebs, I think there is more I forgot about and I’m only at hour 14:17:41 on the timer

haven't seen anyone mention this yet but getting small drip leaf in survival through wandering traders is not the only way... you can just shear it when you find it in a lush cave. In 1.17 the only way to get it was through wandering traders because lush caves didn't exist for people to directly collect them from but since 1.18 that is definitely not the case anymore haha

I think the reason why that many enderman spawned at once is because you got farther into the warped forest so it reloaded a lot of enemies at once (probably the basalt delta), so the game as like ’oh we can spawn enderman’ so a lot spawned at once

You can obtain suspicious gravel and sand by putting 2 cobwebs under it and having it fall onto them

Clearly a subtle easter egg, since suspicious sand will do the same in real life.

32:30 The Sniffer egg is only part of the loot table of suspicious sand in the warm ocean ruins. And both the suspicious blocks are actually obtainable, you just have to drop them to a water bubble column with a soul sand at the bottom, although this means that it loses what was inside the block.
i have my own world were ive already collected all the blocks and its funny because on bedrock it doesnt work, the sand/gravel just breaks and drops nothing

your crazy absolutely crazy i mean it is kind of on a rate of 0-10 of difficulty status like 8 or 9 because of all the achievements and the mobs but that combined with if both had to simultaneously having to earn all the achievements both separately i would say the difficulty is warped up to a 20 on a difficulty scale because if one is getting all the blocks while other is getting the mobs (because some mobs are more difficult than the blocks) i would say sharing items to get achievements is difficult and that is ramped up more if you include getting the baby variations or the mobs that have baby variations
Someone actually has collected every mob I'm pretty sure, he did it on a hardcore world his name is sandiction :)

Great video! Just a few things:
1. End crystals, boats, paintings, armor stands, minecarts, and item frames are not blocks (they're entities), so you didn't need to go through the pain of getting the painting variants
2. To decorate the pot, replace the bricks in the crafting recipe with sherds
3. I don't think you got the versions of the pitcher plant and torchflower that were on farmland - when they're growing, they're different blocks than once you harvest them and move them off the farmland
They used the pickaxe because it has Silk Touch, which is required to collect all the sculk blocks
Also they could have gotten the big drip leaf if they used shears

I think that wunba just counted blocks as any placable item, and, to list other items that he missed, suspicious sand/gravel, chorus block, AND THE LOOM
For future reference just so you know, sniffer eggs can only be found in suspicious sand found in underwater ruins in the warm ocean biome
All the unobtainables are probably obtainable via time travel; during an old snapshot you had to use both hands, and could grab literally anything and throw it on your head, save, and take that world and load it in a later version and take it off your head and just put it in your inventory and place it down.

Also you can only find sniffer eggs in underwater ruins, not trail ruins or desert temples or desert wells, also I don’t think you realised but there is a secret room in the desert temple if you mine the sand.
Also a cool thing is if you put the dragon head on a redstone block its mouth moves

You can do a similar thing by putting the heads on a note block (Both skeleton types make the same sounds).

What do you mean. The chorus plant is unoptaneble? You can plant them right? Shoot the flower on top with your bow and plant it on endstone.
yeah most people dont try that because it is high up. they just get the chorus fruit from chopping it down and think nothing of it
Suspicious Gravel & Suspicious Sand were the most realistic to get out of the unobtainable blocks, using a rising bubble column. And the decorated pot recipe is combing the sherds in a plus pattern (same as normal decorated pot) using what ever sherd you want.
Apart from… yknow the chorus plant… since that is actually obtainable

To get the different types of pots you just need to change the shards with different types like instead of using 4 normal shards, change 2 of them for a different type.
I also noticed that you keep going in your inventory to change your elytra for your chestplate and vice versa but if your right click your chestplate while its in your hand, its gets swapped with your elytra.
