This frame is way too heavy for any project, gotta go with less weight. Those site panels are like 1lb each and rhe rear swing arm is as heavy as a 20lb dumbbell
Thank you for the video, been waffling on the idea of building one of these. Just scored a 2011 norco team downhill, probably going to throw my 72v bbshd on her but also considering trying a 3-5kw hub for the first time.
Yeah its pretty crazy how extreme the builds are with this frame, from fat tire bikes all the way up to 21" dirtbike tires. lots of options and range to start with something slow and easy and go all the way up to fast and dangerous. my current bike is 12kw hub motor but I wanted a 5T for more torque cause i want to power wheelie and get up steep hills.
@@TECHSUPPORTEBIKE That's just the magic of crashing, you can get tossed in the air and be fine, or you can tip over and crack a frame. It's always random. All these batteries should be in an enclosure, but they wouldn't be as cheap to produce. We got peeps like E-bikeguy going 100mph their packs duct taped in place. everybody takes their own risks.
RCA style connector?
Looks to be a GX16 connector.

That’s why I went with the cs20 frame … ordered already ! I got 30-40 days to go 😭
You only paid 130 usd??
Yeah the frame is 132$ but the shipping is 87$ so total cost $219.
@@tacticooldennis That's cheap..from where?
@@legion-t5j It's in the description.

throw them metal panels away go to harbor freight and get a metal brake build your own aluminum panels.
yeah, I already made one aluminum side panel for my fans. My end goal is to take one to a fab shop and make them out of carbon fiber.
I saw stealth getting cut off by a car , bike went to the side and so did the battery , catching fire because of the impact. Carbon fiber too light

The metal will be more durable than aluminum though!
@@sauronbenton442 aluminum is just as durable as steel when fastened right.
Nice man, good luck with the new build. 🫡
