@@LucklessLovelocks I mean with Sword and Resurrection probably +35K and more is possible already, but everyone is trying new domes. So Slip Art Dome score, should not stay for long on top. Once things calm down we will see if new domes can compete.

Yep. It's a dome supplement. A randomised choice between two things that help out the dome. I think for this run it was some protection from projectiles.

50:37 this is why you dig in planned grids and you never go in depth too much past the main shaft. when you have lift you jsut explore left and right and send all the gems to the main shaft where they get transported by lift. this is how you play "lift" build. the way you play is how "teleport" build is play. basically you have main shaft which is used only for orientation and the roam around taking your tp with you and leaving it to such gems while you are away

You end up doing a lot of wasted digging if you strictly go left/right up/down as the iron spawns in triangle patterns + you have to dig through heavier blocks. Definitely still need to find the proper balance of exploration and tunneling but I think just making a grid is also not the best way. Definitely don't go too deep before exploring horizontally is definitely a good strategy though!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it isn't technically worth it to get iron duplication if you play it perfectly. Pre-iron duplication iron conversion is 1-3 over 0.8 cycles, this means you gain 2 over 0.8 cycles. After you buy the upgrade you gain 9 over 2.8 cycles which actually works out to be less. However, if you only come up once per cycle, you gain 2 every cycle without the upgrade and 9 every three cycles with the upgrade/3 every cycle on average. So it is worth it if you do that, but only gets you one more iron each cycle.

You mean is it worth it NOT to upgrade iron duplication? You answered your own question I feel like. You get an extra iron per wave and it costs 4 water to get the upgrade. How is that not STRICTLY better?

2 / 0.8 = 2.5 iron per wave without upgrading
9 / 2.8 = 3.2 iron per wave after upgrade
IF you get back exactly at the 0.8/2.8 cycle marks the difference is an extra 0.7 iron. But you won't get back perfectly 3 waves in a row EVER so yeah the upgrade will pretty much get you an extra iron every wave BUT even if you do play perfectly the upgrade is still better. Unless my math is wrong. I'm rusty.
Also there's the added time of removing the iron every turn and bringing it to the dome with not upgrading.

Weird I thought I responded to this but the response isn't here. It's a dome supplement. A random set of two choices pops up. I think I chose projectile damage reduction for this run.

Wouldnt it be a good idea to use the 4 balls floating around when you go up to widen the center area to 3 tiles?

@@LucklessLovelocks because you ran into so many moments where resources or gadgets got stuck costing you prescious time. And since you had 3-4 orbs floating on your way up they can be used.
@@oOBlackadderOoAgreed, always use your balls when you know you won't need them for something useful immediately.
