Imagine being the monsters...
Random gravity wizard guy crash lands on your planet, extracts every last bit of iron from the underground, destroys any attempt to stop them with ridiculous amounts of electricity, and pushes the iron around so hard the very universe starts breaking.
But I wonder if the drones still try to get the iron that glitches out of bounds?
Seriously though "gravity shenanigans" and "breaking spacetime" goes pretty well together.
everyone: what can you do to make a challenge incomplete ?
lovelock: making sure that no one can blame me if i just break the game by forcefully make few iron uncollectible.
I don't know if you want to point it out, but this months Humble choice has Dome keeper in it, a good opportunity for viewers who don't have it yet (Like me) to pick it up before 5th November.

Here is a run idea. You can’t dig in any direction for more than 3 blocks before you have to change direction and you can’t dig out any block that would connect a tunnel you are digging with another tunnel. The exceptions are switches, the relic, gadgets and supplements.
Instead of digging in a maze you actually create the maze by digging.
Also exception for resources right? I think I should be able to dig those all out. Extra reward.
My initial thought was no if running extra iron but yes normally.
You could even do something more granular, like yes for the first 2 biomes then not.
Up to you honestly.
A suggestion for a really tough gimmick.... you have to break every block SURROUNDING a resource before you can get the actual resource. That seems very intriguing but probably impossible?

Challenge Idea, destroy the fewest blocks possible and win relic mode.
That's an interesting idea! I feel like that's pretty much a speed run EXCEPT iron worms would be 100% necessary so it would also be about managing them. Maybe combining this with one of the guild assignments would work really well. I'll think on it and play around. Thanks!
I once did a Maze where i couldn't mine the Iron and had to break all blocks (except bedrock).
I used only the Iron Worms (no blast mining) for the Iron.
Maybe you could try it.
As an enjoyer of the often underused Tesla Dome, how am I just learning, after all this time, that I should be quitting and then reentering battle to get to the other side faster. Guess that's why I am not a speed runner 🤣
I want to see you go on a regular map so there aren't so many walls to glitch through and make the largest bundle possible

You figured out the stalled drones at the end, nice! Probably a timeout would be great for them. Btw, why didn't you had more drones? More! MORE DRONES! You had a lot of resources, you could easily had 56 or even more.
And still left a supplement in the mine, unlocked.
I guess the Engineer with the Power Drill would get the stuck resources out from the wall. Oh, and there was an interesting iron rain in the walls at some point, wondering where those ended up.
If you really want to get creative:
Build Your Own Maze - Mine in a way that the end screen looks like a maze you would find in a book. There should not be any straight line down the middle or quick routes. Have it be a standard map (not maze) and any size you want.
Edit: Just saw someone else post the same idea. That means you have to do it now, right? 😉
Also, is the directional arrow with the Assessor an option or a mod? I don't remember seeing that in my playthroughs.

I did this a couple days ago except with meticulous worms. 6 or 7 hours, 400 or so iron.

Just started the video and ho god i see an issue... Maze will make it horrible to bring the mineral to the top... Maybe if you can find the shaft drill it would be manageable. :/

What's that arrow pointing in the direction of movement? Is that in the options somewhere?
It is. Under Input there's Show Keeper Aim Indicator. Just be sure to check the one for the input type you use. Either keyboard or Gamepad.
