I' m watching this as I reapply for disability benefits that just have again been refused. Thank you for this video! I'm doing all I can to be fit & every day is just an effort to make it through.
It took me 15 years to get approved and that was applying several times. What they don't tell you is you won't get enough to live on and that medicare is removed from the small amount of money you get every month. I receive $800 a month after Medicare is removed first. My rent in California is $2300 per month plus utilities so as you see that $800 doesn't go very far.
Did you use an attorney? Is this SSI, or SSDI? Did you work before you became ill? Do you use a cane yet? I’m 47, thinking It’s time. Thank you ❤ How do you make up the difference? Are you allowed to work at all, when you feel average enough? I never feel good anymore 😢
I am on the second round of my application. I applied over a year ago and I was denied in July and we appealed immediately. I still have not had a hearing. Covid has complicated all of this as well. I get no information or help from my attorneys. I have been unable to work for over three years and it has been a hardship for us. I am so frustrated, incredibly exhausted, and in 24/7 pain. I don’t know where to go from here.
From what I gathered, it does not apply to those of us who already retired and discovered this diagnosis ‘late’, in spite of symptoms suffered prior to worklife. Drs didn’t know back then... oh well.
I don’t qualify because my husband make just over to much even though I worked my whole life. If my husband passes the I would be better to get his normal SSA
Wow interesting, thank you, now I know why I have sjogren because I have a lot root canal when I was young. I sofer many years and 5 months ago they diagnosed me with sjogren syndrome. I am 62 years old by the way .thanks

Do you know what would happen if you tried to move? I'm just curious to know what would be involved from the SSDI perspective.

Good job of explaining the process of applying for social security. This will help many to understand and have patience and hope.
I live in GB it’s the same here,it feels like a constant uphill struggle with not a lot of support

I think you need a new attorney/attorneys. Someone who will fight for you.

I applied in May, in, Oregon, but they sent my case DDS in Texas. Do you know why they would have done this?

SEE A HOLISTIC DENTIST AND HAVE YOUR OLD ROOT CANALS REMOVED AND YOU WILL BE CURED , I DID AND WAS CURED
I don't have root canals? So don't understand.
@@debra2757 Old dental work can introduce infection , which can cause a sjogrens flare up if irritated. Its not a cure though.
