Excellent information! I'm glad this topic is finally getting more attention. I think gut health is essential for anyone with Sjogren's.

I lived in Ontario, in a major centre for 30 years and for 15 of those years was ill and unable to work. I have now lived in BC for 20 years and this summer received the diagnosis of Sjogren’s Syndrome. I made the diagnosis and paid for the bloodwork- ska positive.I have been seen by many many many physicians - I am now so ill I am planning admission to Longterm care.
This disease and lack of adequate healthcare have ruined my life.

I also found that staying away from night shade vegetables, especially peppers, has helped not only my Sjogren’s but my Fibromyalgia too. Wonderful talk. Thank you.

Thank you for any info on this. I have Sjogrens and bowel dismotility. They wanted to do a colonoscopy but the 2nd dose made my disease flare and my face swelled. A lot of laxatives give me worse cramps and pain. I have tried a lot of different diets to try to help. Nothing seemed to help it. I stay off red meats and am careful about sweets.

    Hi
Where is the important link please? It said it would be in the comments but I can't see it. I'm suffering so badly with this. My stomach is so painful. I have now got what they call Watermelon stomach. I've gone gluten and milk free which has helped with my extreme flatulence.

I have to be lactose and gluten free. I have started making my own yogurt and have gotten relief from the gassy stomach. The friendly bacteria in yogurt helps.

Im very sick very with sĵodrens & feel like im dying literally. I can not get help. 1. Graves disease 2.Sĵodrens 3. Small Fiber POLYNEUROPATHY NEUROMUSCULAR DISEASE too. But i think it's the sĵodrens doing me in big time. 5 Dr's & they don't even want to discuss it. 0 help. I've been bedridden- bed bound over 2 months. 15 lb weight loss. After i eat my body uses all my energy to digest and i literally can not hardly move- every inch of my muscles become over whelmingly complete exhaustion. It's so hard to explain. It's horrifying. Digestion- fatigued so extreme i literally can not hold my body - head up. I hv to prop up in bed all the time. I hv to eat small amounts so it's not as extrem.

Same here. Pretty sure it is Sjogren in addition to dysautonomia.

Maybe the Coimbra protocol could help you. And gut bacteria, eg Mikroveda microorganisms

Do you have gastroparesis? Common with Sjogren's and dysautonomia.
