Badfinger is the most tragic horror story in the history of rock music. They were huge in the early 1970s. This band is a lesson to all aspiring musicians to do their homework before embarking on their careers.
How right you are Chris! In an industry that is so cut throat it's hard to trust. Both Pete and Tom from the band taking their own lives is so devastating 💔 May they both be resting in eternal peace 🙏😇💕
@@HarmonyHeartsLifestyle-ul5yv don’t worry my friend the karma train works in life and also in death, one way or another, Stan will get his comeuppance.
Thanks for this salute to Pete, and RIP matey. Totally let down by management and could have been huge. I believe another of the band members also passed away before time. RIP guys. An we are still enjoying the music you left with us.
Well I'm glad my son didn't go on to make music his career but that's why he gave it up saying it was corrupt. Young man wise head but he still enjoys music playing listening writing. Thank you for that yet another sad one ❤❤
Very wise decision Jayne when you think about the outcome of so many 😥 At least he can still enjoy it as a hobby without it affecting his life negatively ❤ Thanks for watching and commenting, always lovely to see you 💯🤗❣
It always seems to me that being young and very talented is a potentially dangerous situation to be in. Not everyone has your best interests at heart, but by the time you've worked that out, the damage is done. RIP Pete ❤️
Oh I have been hoping you’d cover this tragic life story, but I wasn’t sure how good old UA-cam would react, given the situation. He always reminded me of Ted Mulry! I love their music. Day After Day is one of the moodiest, most emotional songs I’ve ever heard. You’ve done this tribute so beautifully. Your videos and commentary are such gifts to us, my friend. THANK YOU❤️
Thank you so much Deidre your kind words are always so appreciated 🤗💕 And yes this tragedy should never have happened, greed is an awful thing, especially when it costs lives 💔
@@HarmonyHeartsLifestyle-ul5yv it’s heartbreaking. And the sad thing is, it resonates for decades in the lives of those who loved him, and always will. There is solace to be found in having his story told, and told in a way that honours him. Thank you for being one who does that❤️
It’s too bad about poor Pete, a very talented man. Badfinger was a pretty decent group, I liked a couple of their songs. It’s too bad Pete couldn’t get some help I feel for his wife and daughter. May Pete rest in peace. A very nice tribute my friend as always. ❤
I still view Pete as one of my songwriting idols, He was a brilliant artist and is a must to listen too, check out the cds that the late great Dan Matovina released, pure brilliance
This is very upsetting how could the management do this how were they allowed to get away with this pete ham was a musical genius i don't know what else to say i am very tearful sorry
Why bother with the nonsense about Zodiac signs? I doubt there is a single person that reads these otherwise interesting posts is in the slightest way bothered about bollocks like birth signs.
Thanks Alan for your comment 🙂👍 A couple people requested I add them 😃 I guess people interested in astrology like to look into the artist's personality traits or are just curious in general.
Sorry. That was me being a miserable old git. I knew I wasn’t in for a pleasant journey when I started to watch anything about this tragic, talented young man. Sadly it turned into an even sadder story than I had ever dared imagine. Whilst aware that it was littered with some disgusting characters, I never knew that the music industry contained out and out crooks. I can’t imagine the desperation of what it must have been like for a man with a young family, feeling that he is achieving some success and respect, yet not seeing any money. A terrible story, but it does need telling, so I thank you in all sincerely for telling it and I do apologise for my rawness coming out. I will be checking for more of your work.
@@alancharles6789 Alan thank you so very much, that means the world to me! 🥰 It was a very raw story and hard to imagine there are people out there that can cause that sort of pain to others. If I've learnt anything from doing these videos it's that the life of fame and fortune isn't all it's cracked up to be 😓 Thank you again for being here, I appreciate you ❤
Another great one ❤. Tragic story..
It's so sad isn't it 😥 Always great to see you here my friend 🤗💕

Pete was one of the most talented song writers of the 1970's. Great singer and awesome musician. So many songs will not be written.
Yes such a loss 💔

@@HarmonyHeartsLifestyle-ul5yv So sad that mis-management resulted in not one, but two members dying.
@@BakedRBeans It's terrible, and Stan Polley never paid a price for his criminality: the money was never recovered, he was never prosecuted 😡
@@HarmonyHeartsLifestyle-ul5yv That's even worse than I thought.

Badfinger should be indicated into the Rock and roll Hall of Fame. Far less worthy bands have been, many that leave you scratching your head.

I agree. The manager is off the planet at least and died at 87 in 2009.
a sad story. may Stan Polley rot in hell.
Divine punishment!
