I met my wife through a personals website, Yahoo in fact. Neither of us was there thinking about getting married when we started to see each other, but we started to talk to each other during recharging time.. One thing led to another and now we have been married for 17 yrs, and I find new things about her every day that makes me love with her even more! I truly believe that out love is a real miracle. Miss Bamford, you keep doing your standup, and I will keep laughing.
as someone incredibly insecure and anxious and constantly down about myself and my failures, its a little unnerving seeing it reflected back at me through maria but its also a little inspiring to see how brave she is to be so vulnerable in front of countless strangers. thanks
Hah holy shit what an interesting concept for a show. Hadn't heard this show exists. I practiced my material sometimes alone in an empty room before I ever did an open mic, god it's weird to have NO feedback.
I can see the sadistic stand-up comic when he thought of this idea... Oh I'll take away exactly what helps me do show and see if I can fly with no front windshield on the plane that I'm flying way up in the sky. It's a great idea
Maria is great, but this is a bad idea for a show. There's no point of having everyone watch what's supposed to be a live, interactive performance on a screen. At the very best, you just get the most basic, rehearsed version of their set with no adjustments based on audience reactions. If you bring up something that's kind of touchy and there's a lull in the audience, you have to address it. If a joke bombs, you have to address it. If you don't, you're just left with this weird, awkward energy in the room. It makes the comics look sub-par and the audience doesn't benefit. This is like doing stand up in front of a mirror or a webcam. Also, the edits suck. When I watch stand up, I never want to see the face of an audience member. I know it's a short cut for editors to show some audience reactions, but it always takes me out of moment of the show, even more than a the fact that I'm watching it through a screen already does.
I would take a guess and say maria has enough people in her head to fill that audience anyway. Shes genius, Love her lol.
My favourite comedian. Do one open mic and you'll know how hard this was.
Inkkink absolutely hell yes. I've done open mics as a juggler comic
maria is amazing. she's one of the smartest comedians out there, she's the closest this thing, standup, ever come to art.
Imagine people knowing you are doing a falling down the stairs gag alone in silence while you do it

The Raisin Bran Bowl!!
That part killed me
Well this was ahead of its time...
This woman makes me so happy haha 💖💖
Theses "other comedians" ruin it a bit for me. It should just be the audience.
Yeah really sucked the fun out of it
I have no clue why they are shown.
Love the premise and the editing! Seems to dwell in self-awareness. Bamford's comedy is often in-facing so this was groovy.
Killed it.
I love Bamford so much. She's an amazing depressed comic.
Reading these comments has restored my faith - thank u xoxoxoxo
This is a perfect vehicle for Ms. Bamford. I imagine that she is like this 24/7, but I could be wrong.

this is such a cool premise for standup
2:27 I like that I knew that was her mom immediately
I love you Maria!
I'd love it if she could hear the cameraman laugh just once.
if i was the cameraman i would probably just fucking lose it at some point
Incredible.
So wonderful!
Bam!
it's a good thing they kept explaining the premise over and over talk about high-concept am i right (!)
The bald comic was annoying. Going to watch his... if it’s up, because I’ve never heard of him.
Maria, however, is hilarious as always.
It was kind of funny the way she started screaming like Sam Kinison
Hahahaha!!! Yes that scream was totally Kinison-esque!! 😂😂😂😂
she is a genius
Kinison tier scream 4:16
That wasn't 7 minutes.
XskiXedgeX it's edited
damn maria rules so hard no matter what

She falling down the steps was rich.
The editing is... well the TV audience won't get most of the jokes.
7 Minutes in Purgatory? But the video is 6:39,where's the last 21 seconds?
oh boy
This would be much more interesting if we could watch it in silence too. Seeing and hearing the audience kind of kills the whole point.
Maria's released one special where it was just her doing her routines in her living room. She can do it.
It seems a lot more poignant and looks a lot more insane in silence.

More like what future shows are going to look like In late 2020...😨
to me she will always be a 10 valley girl megan full of makeup no matter what. love is blind
I lurve to watch lady comics and I lurve huh...
bad premise
1st
what an absolutely strange and pointless gimmick.
Horrible
This women makes me sad.
virtuosomaximoso1 and you make women sad
virtuosomaximoso1 Hahhaa that's sad
oof
Your grammar makes me sad.
At what point was she funny. Ellen Degenneres is funny. This woman is not.
Jynnxed -101 They are both hilarious in their own, unique ways. No comparison necessary.
Ellen and Maria have COMPLETELY different comedy styles.. The commonality is what? The fact that they're women? Grow up
