The last time I played this game was in 2001. I was 3 years old. Now I’m watching this video and I’m wondering how it’s possible that I remember EVERYTHING. Every single detail is so familiar to me, every game asset, every sound, like if I just played it yesterday. I don’t know if I’m amazed by my mind, or scared
nope, it's just really really distinct sounds and visuals. i played this before my little brother was born so anywhere between 2002 (the year i was born) and 2009 and i remember playing it on an old ass thick monitor with a loud ass computer that ran on i think windows xp or something lmao... i remember it so vividly and now that i see/hear this, it's like someone's shooting me in the chest with a nostalgia gun

The best Zoo tycoon like game ever to be made. Might actually be the best game ever made, period. Had I got a playable copy, I would play it reularly even today.

I love Planet Zoo, but I'm getting nostalgic for the original Zoo Tycoon 1 and 2. Since neither Steam or Gog have them, I can only track down physical copies and hope they run in my Windows 11 PC. Although Amazon has 2 available as a digital download.
I remember playing this game for hours and waaaay past my bed time on my dads computer, i also had the dinosaur pack where you could grow dinosaurs from there eggs, id make a legit zoo then get bored and take all the fences down and watch the animals eat eachother
I just redownloaded the game! new or not it's still a classic and classics are fun forever! I also have the new Zoo Tycoon but aint as fun as this version

hey ! I play really hard this game still today. I manage to bought again the full extension with Marine Mania and Dinosaur Digs. I have a question : is it possible to go over 1000 visitors in your park ? On my graph it seems I am topping 1000 and never go above. Do you know anything about this ? (ps : i used a large field)

Im playing on an apple imac g4 power pc. So i can get it from macintosh garden and it runs natively Before you tell me to buy a real copy. 1 the disc slot is broken so i cant. 2 i bought the crappy xbox one version. So I basically paid for this lol.

Man this game ❤️. I used to block the main gate with an electric fence and let out all the animals out of their enclosures
pro tip- raise the ground high so no one can exit coz people can still exit the fence
