Hello Sonya. I've been a silent subbie for some time now. I used your dry shampoo method when washing my hair the other day and it really got my scalb yes scalb clean and it's nowhere near as irritated as it use to be. Thank you thank you thank you for your tips and gifts. I was able to clean my hair easier that way. I passed the information on to my daughter as well. Be blessed and beautiful

Thank you for this message. I have learned so much from you. I, too, compared my hair and myself to others and considered myself as failing because it didn't respond like they said it should have. I now proudly wear my chunky twists out because it is what works for me. If I want to wear a twist out, I will, regardless of whether it looks like someone else's. My name is Stephanie Carter, and I love my 4Z hair, whether it's under a wig, a hat, a scarf or flying free!!!

Yes! We are fearfully and wonderfully made. I found out the porosity of my hair, and was able to wash and style my hair in half the time. I use to run out and buy the most expensive products thinking that it would would work, and later found out I could've saved some money. I would like to try oil rinsing. Have you looked into that?

Honey, you are beautiful, smart, charming and funny. Your honesty is so refreshing. The integrity of hair changes as we age~especially women. I'm 56 now, and my hair is nothing like it was when I was younger. Anyhow, the fact that you wear a head covering is actually in many cultures the most feminine thing a woman can do Biblically speaking. And there's so many beautiful scarfs and wraps, it makes me think seriously about wearing them. I think you're perfect and amazing, just like you are.xo

How come you don't have your own regular tv or radio show my dear sister? Why hasn't some of these radio stations snapped you up? You are like a cool drink of lemonade on a hot day! You are intelligent, wise and funny, you tell it like it is and you enable us your subbies to feel that we aren't weird we are unique. Thank you. You are so gorgeous. You helped me so much! I think as I've got older my hair has grown coarser and dryer I used to relax my hair then two years ago I decided because my hair had gotten so thin and dry I was going to stop dying my hair and stop putting it through the chemical straightener process. My hair has got back its thickness and is no longer dry. I am learning to love me and my grey hair. My mother lives in her wig and she's so shocked I won't dye my hair or wear a wig or at least put some heat on it. I am learning to work with my hair and I style it just like yours most of the time. Sonya, thank for being a blessing. Yes we are fearfully and wonderfully made! Love and peace 💐💐💐💕

You look beautiful to a lot of us. When I buried my only daughter, I cut off my long hair and put a scarf on my head for years. I wanted to hide. I did not know what to do and how to get back, it has taken me years and my mom left me 2 years ago a totaled of 14 years. I do understand and I love your truth. You have me rejoicing and smiling, because I have been there and now suddenly I am branching out and I love it, we both are Blessed and I have truly enjoyed your company. Also, when I look at you I see a beautiful person who doesn't make a judgment against a person, we are all learning SELF, SO DO NOT MAKE IT AGAINST SELF, YOUR GRAY IS awesome. I've had gray since I was 12 and I love it. But, I do have my hair professionally dyed to suit. SELF.

continue to deep condition and moisturize and seal with jojoba oil and castor oil. Urban hydration products are very good. They have daily moisturizer that's a must have. You can find on line. From time to time Marshalls or T.J maxx.My hair Is a 4 b/4c.As I moisturize it my curls become looser and softer. Stick in there.

You are beautiful so whatever you do to your hair is not going to change that regardless if it is natural or relaxed. And you are right, no two heads are alike and what works for you might not work for someone else thus the reason for trial and error. Your hair is your domain and you have ultimate control over it so do what you want with it. Plus, there need to be less comparing and lusting after other people's hair (speaking in the extreme sense) use tips that works for you and keep it simple.

I have 5V hair. Some of my hair may be at 5T.
This hair may look like 4C at first glance but it is not. My hair is way more wiry, more dry, but still very soft. It will not do a wash and go to save it's life. It laughs at all those shea butter creams and products. It heckles at twist outs. When it is stretched - it shrinks back -because of open air and because it feels like it. It is also a step beyond low porosity. It is not just water resistant but is water repellent. It fights moisture and pushes it away.
This is my description of hair that is in the 5s. And I love it. I just wake up in the morning as asks it to 'surprise me' I never know what it will do next. LOL

My hair is so much different than my families hair ,they can go natural, not me. I keep my hair permed, but I take care of it to the best of my ability. That natural hair thing involves a lot of time all the steps I see people taking on these videos, I just want to wash, condition and dry, then in about seven or eight months apply more and be done, the heck with all these bull products. It's a funny thing, applies to what you said about us all being made different, coconut oil does not work on my hair or skin, it makes me itch.

I Don't see nothing wrong with your hair . My Aunt is 80 and she has always washes her hair and combed some royal crown hair grease in it and braided it up and put on a wig since the late 50's. Her wigs are real nice. she knew that this black hair care thing was never going to be for her even in the 1950's. Hair turning back after you paid money to get a press and curl. She like to swim too and she does it well, so this has always worked for her.
