Why is no one talking about Axar Patel? His batting saved India in the BGT last year at home otherwise India would have lost the match in Delhi and subsequently the series after loss in Indore.
Shami would be greatly missed, Shami-Bumrah was a great bowling pair. Without Shami, Bumrah's effectiveness decreases and with the mediocre bowlers like Siraj, he is unable to keep pressure on the opposition.
Rahane used Siraj in excellent way and got the results every half an hour from Melbourne to Gabba.. Captain should guide the bowlers..particularly young ones
@@subramanyamraju9738 There is no difference under Rahane's captaincy and Rohit's captaincy for Siraj. Siraj under Rohit captaincy averages 30.5 runs per wicket with 52.5 balls per wicket strike rate. Under Rahane's captaincy, Siraj averages 29.53 runs per wicket with 62 balls per wicket strike rate.
@@macster1613 Cricket is not about averages.. particulary test cricket situations changes from session to session.. how captain is getting results is important
@@subramanyamraju9738 Cricket is about averages and averages only. That how you classify whether the batsman is Ponting or Prasad, whether the bowler is Warne or Ashish Kapoor. Without average or without numbers, you cannot select a team. Even in your office or my office or anyone's office, we go by numbers, we get appraisals or promotions looking at our work. The numbers are the only thing bcoz they dont lie. The whole world knows it and works on it, why you resisting it, lol
No, Ishant Sharma has not retired but soon he would be announcing his retirement. His career is over for India. If you want to him to be selected for Aus tour, then please note that he averages 42.2 vs Aus, 48.54 vs Aus in Aus and his career avg is 32.4. Aussies would have been really happy if Ishant was selected in the squad.
BCCI was in a hurry to declare the team BGT tour. If they would have waited till 28th they could have selected a different set of players with fire in the belly unlike Rohit and Kohli who have taken things for granted in the name of high risk high gain policy. BCCI , reason best known to them, cannot drop these guys.
Whats so special on 28 that would have change the player names in the squad. India has to leave for Aus within a week on 7 or 8th Nov, which gives them a week. Nothing would change in just 2 days.
Why NO Hardik...?! He is totally fit and fine.. He must play Tests in the SENA countries...skipping and ignoring Tests for no genuine reason should not be allowed to anyone, simple as that..🚨🚨 And, Avesh Khan was a better option than both Mukesh and Prasidh(We already saw him in South Africa Tests) in Australia Tests... And Pujara could/should have been considered, at least in reserves, for this tour...
Hardik is fragile, he himself has taken the decision to play shorter formats. Also, he averages 31 with the bat and 31 with the ball as well in test cricket, which is decent. His last test was in 2018.
Also I think Rohit should drop himself from Wankhede test for his proposed personal issues before BGT 1st test and rejuvenate himself making way for his replacement for first test in Australia to get acclimatized to opening position. It could be KL Rahul, Gill or Eswaran. Rahul opening will make way for Sarfaraz in the middle.
Odds are Eswaran would just be sitting on the bench the whole 5 test matches. I think he is selected as back-up opener. I dont see the team breaking the opening pair of Jaiswal n Rohit.
Also, its funny how Sarfaraz avg dropped from some 76 to 58 and then to 51 and would have dropped even further as he got out cheaply even today. Broadly speaking, his technique does not augur well for Aus pitches and if he is selected, Aus bowlers would make a mockery of Sarfaraz. Sarfaraz can go to Aus with an avg of 50 but when he returns home, dont be surprised to see his average in the 20s.
Shubham Dubey is a sitting duck, cant play short ball. Aussies would have eaten him rather than their breakfast. Also, Dubey's balling is very average. Aussies would play him with one hand tied behind their back.
Also in a country of billions, why select Prasidh Krishna, the guy has no talent, he has proved it over and over again, still they select him, lol. Get ready for 5-0, Aus would make India cry :)
5-0 Australia with such disastrous batting
ABSOLUTELY. PLEASE SEE MY COMMENTS ABOVE!
Santner sanitized indian batsmen 😂
Cummins, Lyon, Starc and Hazelwood all have >250 Test wickets each
Indians should just come up with an excuse for not going to Aus, lol :) A 5-0 in the making lol

Great decision

3-0 or 3-1 to Australia

Prasidh Krishna vs Subham Dubey
Who's better bowler?
Ans: Undoubtedly i choose Subham Dube
