Love this idea! I sell meal planner notepads and people ask about magnet versions of it all the time. Gonna try this with some of the sheets from the notepad and see how it goes!
I have a pack of printable magnet to try out. this is a great idea.
Love this! I just started a sticker business and looking into expanding into stationary. I absolutely love this idea. Definitely going to look into!
I’m a new subscriber and I’m loving your content. I love that you’re open to share how to make your stationary items. Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks so much! Glad you're here! ☺️
I love your bubbly personality
❤
This is awesome! I've just been watching your DIY videos this morning and thinking....I can't possibly compete, your self-made art work is fabulous and I can't draw a straight line with a ruler!! But I may use your ideas to make gifts for my granddaughter's (she is 9) teachers, and possibly even some family members/friends, too!
ps I knew you were Canadian (the Studio ruler from Dollarama was the give away), but it wasn't until I was watching you display some of your note pads that I realized we are in the same city! The lighthouse, & the clock tower are iconic images here! 😊
Love your videos, and so happy to have stumbled upon your channel this morning!
Thank you so much for the lovely comment! So nice to connect with more people locally - I'm so happy/surprised when east coasters find my videos 🥰 I hope you do try some of the tutorials, they're a lot of fun and if you aren't too artsy yourself you can definitely design some nice things using the free graphics Canva offers.
You can try places like Creative Fabrica if you don't know how to draw. They have a variety of images that you can use.
@@sassyjones9747 Thanks. I'm a huge fan of Creative Fabrica! My favourite site for crafts, images, even fonts! It is an awesome site for sure, especially for folks with no artistic ability like me! :D
I am lucky that my granddaughter's school has a 'star' as it's 'mascot'...yep...you read that correctly...the school 'mascot' is a star! I guess, really, it's more their 'motto' "where everyone is a star" (now I've given away her school to anyone from this part of the city I live in LOL) But for christmassy or cat stuff I will have to rely on CF :D
I have used Rebecca's idea tho' and gone with some stars in the school colours of blue and gold....made them the size I need for sticky-notes...now I just need to find out who her teachers will be this year.
Love your tutorials.
I absolutely love this! Great video! Thanks so much for sharing.❤

Really like and appreciate your tutorials. 😊
Thanks so much 😊
That is so cool, thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching! ☺️
Thank you for this, more videos of Canva and Procreate are needed.
Thank you! I love both programs so I'll definitely make more about them!
Thanks for providing the tutorial ~ easy to follow. I was able to remove the grid background and change the color
So glad it was helpful! ☺️
Fantastic. Love it. Will give it a go. Would it not be easier to add the plastic before adding it to the magnet? Just a thought. X
You totally could! My thinking was I could more thoroughly burnish the paper to the glue without the plastic on, but probably just me overthinking it. I'm sure both ways work 🥰
This is awesome !
Thanks! 🥰
Great tutorial, new subscriber from England. I found you through your notepad video. Looking forward to watching more of your vlogs I am insomnia ridden it's 6.15am here & now you have put Cadbury chocolate into my mind 👀 Trying my best to resist the Cadbury Wispa Golds' calling my name from the kitchen cupboard right now 😂
Thanks so much! I am sorry for giving you nighttime chocolate ideas but I have plenty of those myself 😄 I love England, I have lived there twice and try to visit as much as I can. Nice to connect! x
@@luckysprout Ditto 😊
I really love this diy I make stationary artwork to I love your ❤😊channel
Looks great! I would also factor in your time in the final price as well. Really enjoyed your tutorial!! Thanks
Definitely! Thanks for watching! ☺️
Love this, would love more tutorials on Canva using an ipad
Thank you! I will certainly try - I find Canva just awful on mobile/iPad so I use the desktop version 99% of the time. But I will definitely try to plan more Canva content in general! ☺️
@@luckysprout I am vision impaired and find using a lap top or desk top extremely difficult so I use my iPad for everything. Ash you say it is difficult to use that’s why I am looking for tutorials for it lol
@@theresabreeden6743 Gotcha! My best friend is also visually impaired and has a hard time with screens so I totally understand. Is there a specific kind of project you'd like to learn or just general skills? I'll put my thinking cap on ☺
@@luckysprout general skills would be awesome. I have figured out some by myself. It’s one of those things you don’t know what you can do until you hear about it and learn it. Hope that makes sense, I also do paper related projects and have some experience in paint shop pro and graphic designing, Canva is so different. I did get the pro version because everything I wanted was pro lol.
Thank you for another great video. One question - how do you keep the edges of the vinyl from curling or coming up?
Thanks for watching! :) I haven't actually had the edges of my vinyl ever curl up - maybe it comes down to the brand or type of vinyl?
A membership card to a place I dont go to...easy! The gym. 😂
LOL at least you have the card!! 🤭
how do I change your background color? I removed the gride lines but can't want a different color
You should be able to click on the background then in the top left corner of the editing window a multi-coloured square will appear; clicking on that will let you edit the background colour
@@luckysprout Thank I will give it a try
When do you usually restock your site? I noticed a few items I wanted to purchase are out of stock.😢
Gosh thank you so much for this comment - my site sync'd with my Square app and messed up all my categories and inventory 🫣 I just fixed it and everything should be back in stock! I will be doing a store update near the end of August ❤️ Thanks again!!
@@luckysprout oh noe! Well glad I was able to bring this to your attention and I hope it was an easy fix. No problem!
Hi!! I'm confused. Why send it to printer as png and lt pdf ?
I'm new at this
I'm sure you could do pdf but my preference is PNG. I find the colours translate to my printer a bit better that way. But canva can be a bit fussy with colours and printers so you may want to try a few formats to see what works best for you!
@@luckysprout oh!! Great tip!!
Is this the matte film or glossy?
Glossy film!
