  • Hi everyone,
Apologies for the late uploading for this video which is all about getting more by doing less.
This is the foundation to my teaching.
Once again, I thank you for supporting the channel, and any comments on the video video. I would love to hear from you.
    Kind regards as always.
    Warren

I find this the hardest thing to learn, no matter how much I practice. I can't make a "natural" pressure shift. Once I start the swing, I revert to weight on back foot and add enormous loft to every club😢
I'll keep going, cos your lessons are giving me the will to get it right😂

Well done, Warren. Excellent videos. All your videos have been very detailed, hitting a lot of balls. Keep up the good work.

Thank you, Warren. Yes, it was a few videos ago where you discussed the butt of the club passing the ball just about parallel and introducing the compression at impact. Unless I'm missing something, this is no different (in theory). The Elite video you made a few weeks ago has been monumental on my iron play this past week. You sir are a very, very gifted coach.

Thank you Warren. The pressure shift is an important part I need to incorporate into my swing😉👍🏻

Warren, I really enjoy your videos! I appreciate how you simplify the swing and make it look smooth and easy. That maybe the problem! The golf swing is so technical that it is much harder than you demonstrate. I have a huge problem with sequence! My upper body lunges as you show in this video. I have a problem with the lateral shift. I tried your Lag & Snap from a previous video and I shanked every ball! I also sway! I’m working hard to stabilize my lower body while trying to relax my upper body. I tense my upper body just before impact. I NEVER have your balanced finish position. I am an athlete! I did send you a video on your Facebook Messenger page. I’m sorry that I sound like a hopeless case. I’m a retired 68 year old in AZ. Golf is my passion! I put a simulator in my house and instead of improving my game is in a terrible slump! I do have a positive work ethic and really want to work hard and improve. Maybe I’m on the downside of my golfing skills. I still don’t want to give up!

Absolutely great video and I really need to work on the lateral pressure shift. Since starting watching your channel a couple months ago with my winter practice, I finally had the opportunity today to go out in some what warmth and I was very surprised to see that I could hit a couple draws, I hit a couple of fades and I hit some straight shots and I noticed that my contact was much better compared to last season. Thank you very much for this great video, and I am going to have to work on this move. You have really helped me to understand better sequencing in the golf swing even though it has taken me a long time to relearn everything. Many thanks.❤ I firmly believe you are THE BEST instructor on UA-cam and I know you are a wonderful person as your passion is clearly seen in your videos.

@@definitiveenergy1878 Too many break it down into positions only elite athletes can do. Last week I tried the hold the back back and I was hitting 7 irons 150 yards carry 165 total on trackman and I got “free speed” in the slot and was up to 80 mph and for me that’s huge. Love his ideas. Keep it simple. Glad to hear it’s working for you as well 🙏

Awesome video Warren, thank you very much . The content that you share is second to none and I consider myself blessed to have stumbled upon you as it is not everyday a 5 time open participant shares his insights with the community GBY
Quick question where do you prefer our weight distribution in the swing over the balls of the feet over the heels from under the shin bones back? Thank you 🙏

      Hi Michael,
I would say more centred or over the ankles, especially for the golfer who is OTT. For the golfer who is too inside and hooky, I would say more balls of feet.
Hope that helps and good luck
      Warren

I am confused with the release, on some of your ealier videos you advocate the modern release : dropdown, then body turn and on this video it's the crossover of hands ( which I find difficult to be consistent with ....timing). I am a senior golfer and still agile, which release should, I use ? Enjoy your videos Warren.

Hi Warren, how would you adapt this if you tend to hook the ball?

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  Місяць тому +1

Hi Neil, I would incorporate a rotation of the body so it minimises body stall so it matches up with hand release.
Be aware of where to club is coming into the ball, if you have a hook starting right feel the club a little wider coming down, that’ll help with club stability through impact so you don’t have to stop and flick with the hanks.
      Hope that helps.
      Regards
      Warren
